Guess everyone at FCA remembered how living with Renix Fuel injection was like!
Guess everyone at FCA remembered how living with Renix Fuel injection was like!
So you’re telling me that we’ll have Renix fuel injection back ?! :D
If I were you, and you wanted to go for a Liberty, then you MUST pony up $4k-$5k, make a roadtrip out of it, and buy a DIESEL CRD Liberty!! Here’s a few:
I was hoping to see the Fifth Element Camping setup in there, like this:
You can swap out the junk SMG system and put in a 6 speed shifter assembly and clutch as the transmission is a automated-MANUAL, if I’m not mistaken...and you keep the transmission!
So Toyota was 4 years behind GM in solving the 5th seat problem on a PHEV: nice.
Aw Yeah! You can tow a the slightly smaller/lighter ones with that much tow capacity. a 22 foot Sport weights around ~3600 lbs and max capacity of the axle is 4500lbs. Or a 19-foot Tommy Bahama at ~4200 lbs. So that diesel A6 can definitely pull the smaller Airstreams and maybe even a mid sized one in the right…
If going automatic on an E36, only one worth going for would probably be an M3 or any of the 6 cylinder engines, unless if its a ‘vert or a Ti.
1400 lbs payload capacity and a diesel? Sounds like a mid-sized diesel pick up! Does that mean that it can tow an Airstream now?
Of course this happened:
Tach only goes upto 7,000 rpm, S54 goes upto and sometimes past 8,000 rpm. CP!
Thank you so much for showing this! Grew up in Pakistan and I can safely say that Pakistani truck art was always fascinating as heck, with the loud and proud explosion of colors and air-horn noises (think Dukes of Hazzard -style) rolling down the roads. Can’t forget all the diesel smoke as well, when these behemoths…
Honestly, the Elise is the better bang-for-buck scenario. For the price-point of the Abarth 124, there’s too many options out there.
Buy this CPO and post-depreciation (or used, because Jalops), upgrade the fuel system for E85 (maybe bigger injectors/fuel-pump/lines; or just splash blend upto E50 or something since ), raise the boost and throw a tune on, and voila: An Italian-ish turbo rocket making north of 200hp :)
Can’t believe no ones said it yet, but doesn’t the Y look like a sleeker Pontiac Aztec? :O
Good to see that they’re getting close to the EV range of a Gen 1 Volt. Lower top speed in EV but enough for everyday highway driving. Packaging of the High Voltage architecture must be great.
This makes sense. You can only “technology” your way out of so much kinetic energy. Its the same “gentlemen’s agreement” speed limiter that all japanese manufacturers imposed back in the 80's and 90's (and I believe still do impose) on all Japanese cars sold in Japan. That’s why all Japanese speedometers only go upto…
Or, to make things more interesting, Nissan Leaf’s with only 5 or less battery health bars and only 30ish Miles of range at full charge in “ideal” conditions. :D
RACE ALL THE JUNK’d LEAFs!!
The Volts are far and beyond better than any Prius and above it in every way from conception. Think about it, a new Volt back in 2010 used to retail for $44k with all the bells and whistles. I doubt you could break into the low $30k with a fully loaded Prius. The 1st Prius PLug-ins had a measly 11 miles of EV range.…
