Maybe the software update re-calibrates the regen-curve of the motor and Tesla decided to go with smaller physical brakes?

You could get a TRD Supercharger from the Toyota Dealer for the 1st Gen V6 Solara’s. Now THAT can’t be “meh” with a 5 speed, now can it?!
On the 1st Gen Volt at least, You can regen upto 55-60kW while the max power the Main Traction motor can give is 111kW; so a little over 50% of the energy can be recaptured compared to the total power output of 111kW.
Not a clean looking Honda Civic Coupe, NOOOO!!!
My 1st Gen Volt also has a 3.3kW onboard charger. Looking at your numbers, I assume you’re charging on 120V at 8Amp setting? If the Sonata PHEV has a selectable 8A or 12A setting like the Volt then that would definitely reduce your 8-9hr charging rate to 6 hours :)
Yeah I guess Porsche has some clearing up to do. The 230V definitely is for the EU, not the US. And “fully depleted battery” may be a relative term. Fully depleting a Li-ion battery is a death sentence to the battery packs life span and fully charging it doesn’t do it any favors either. The State of Charge (SOC)…
Why the hell has NO ONE recommended a Jeep XJ?!
Here’s a 1996 with “lowish miles” and a snow plow :)
Plugged-in with the standard 3.6 kW, 230-volt 10-amp charger, the battery can recharge in 7.8 hours, or 2.3 hours with the optional 7.2 kW 230-volt 32-amp charger.
Also, correction, this Pro-4X rig should have a SIX-Speed, Not a 5-speed manual. Even moar Nice Pipe?!
At least in the Chevy Volt, if you go deep enough into the infotainment menu screen, you can activate or deactivate the “walk-away” auto-locks!
Just a nit-pick, but Motorola had hand gestures back in 2014 in the Moto X (2nd Gen), before the Moto X Pure.
Well dang it CarMax! The car does have 3 separate cooling loops, and if the level on the Electronics/HV and Battery Coolant level fall low, and/or the 12 volt battery dies, then you get some weird shit happen.
It handles a bit supple but flat at low speeds but its amazing at anything over 40 mph. Top speed is 100mph (easier to hit than you think) and 0-60 is 8.5-8.8 seconds (considerably faster than a prius or a Leaf). Love taking long sweepers in this thing doing 75-80mph going up and downhill. You do feel the 3800lb heft,…
Buy a 2013-15 Chevy Volt!!
As if Houston Towing companies aren’t terrible enough. Got a few stories with them. One of them being about chasing down said tow truck driverto help a random guy get his car back while said tow truck is blasting down the side-streets in mid-town and all the way to EaDo. They have literally no regard for other people…
No Delorean?! C’mon guys...you made it sad now :(
that rainbow at 0:18! Maybe that Lambo does run on Unicorn tears and Bronie angst :)
Patrick summoning the might of the Jalop-universe to conjure his next car. Diabolical.... I like it! :)
Maybe he meant Suzuki Carry?!
