@sharibetsu: I never did, actually. I did have a friend whose game got seriously screwed up by jumping an entire YEAR into the future, though; his town was full of weeds and very, very (okay, as much as they do in Animal Crossing) pissed off townsfolk.

@My Little Metroid: Yes, they COULD, but it's a fact that to date, 100% of PS3 games are region-free. I think it's safe to assume that this game will be as well.

@Izod517: I'll be surprised if they're only $10 each at release...more likely $15. Which makes the starting price $5 higher than The God of War Collection and The Sly Collection were at retail launch. Lame, but still cheaper than importing, so...yeah.
