I would have sworn that the theme song had been composed by the same guy that did Cagney & Lacey, but, surprisingly, it was not. They have the same sort of vibe though, no?

I never got the impression that it was Perry who bribed the juror. That seemed like something Pete did on his own (although I’m not sure where he would have gotten the money from). Pete and Perry didn’t ever discuss it either before or after the mistrial, did they?
While Sousa and Daisy are ok together, I still feel bad for Deke. He’s still obviously very into her. I guess there’s still time to make it a “thruple (sp?)”—that way, no one is left out in the cold and some Deke-Sousa action could be a possibility.
they are somehow even worse than General Hale and her daughter were...
Why would it “provoke insecurity?” I didn’t get the impression that she wanted anything more than his big black dick, so he would have been easily replaceable as far as she was concerned. And I don’t buy that she was so sensitive that she would just somehow know something “went wrong” without it being pointed out to…
Exactly. It wouldn’t have been a “conundrum” for you—it would just have been a hook-up. You wouldn’t be concerned about his personal details, because you weren’t looking for anything more than sex.
Between this show and Perry Mason, there’s a lot of intergenerational familial casting going on. Much better than trying to make older actors look young. Good thinking, Hollywood!
I saw it as an example of how police view sexual assault allegations made by men--gay men in particular. They are not treated with as much respect or dignity as women are--often times, they are sent the message that there is something wrong with them which is why the assault occurred. That is, if they are believed in…
If you never found out that he was gay—if it just ended up being a “one-and-done” scenario—what would you have thought about the encounter?
How would you feel if a gay man had sex with you as an experiment but you never knew that was why he did it?
That’s hilarious
The biggest problem with the judges on Canada’s Drag Race is that they don’t seem to understand that they are doing a camp version of America’s Next Top Model. They seem to think that they are on a serious and important competition reality show, and they are too serious and sincere in their critiques—Stacey…
He sounded so much like John Lithgow that I found myself wondering if they had dubbed his voice in for some reason.
How sad.
This “absorbing powers” thing...hasn’t it been done already? Wasn’t that Zach Quinto’s schtick in “Heroes?” Or was it some other comic book show? I know I’ve seen it somewhere before this...
If that’s the case, then why is anyone acting like there a question about what happened? The story has been told...what’s with all this “she’s chilling in a cabin” bullshit that’s been circulating?
Yeah, it seemed almost like how The Blacklist was forced to end it’s season—with art school-level animation that probably could have benefited from another 2 weeks to complete it. It was basically just a bunch of flat color panels without any depth or texture.
I wasn’t sure about the ballroom thing, so thanks for the information.
I don’t have kids so i could be completely in left field—but by 4 years old, aren’t kids talking already? I mean he could be starting kindergarten next year, right? Have they asked her son what happened?
They have boy categories at the balls, don’t they? And that’s what Drag Race is (very) loosely based on, so it’s not completely without justification.
