I accept your apology. © Stephen Colbert

Well, as I said in the beginning, I was a without-a-doubt fundamentalist southern baptist believer who was EXTREMELY dedicated to the religion. Yet I found myself starting to question my beliefs and open my eyes in part due to the matter-of-fact, self-assured and, yes, even condescending and snide remarks made by

The fact that a person believes something to be true does not make it true, and no one is under an obligation to pretend otherwise.

I think you mean based on a slightly less than 2000 year old fictional story.

I want religious thought to disappear as much as the next atheist. But attacking it doesn't help. It makes people defensive and they just refuse to even consider what you are saying.

A quirky story with a heart-melting ending.

The writer of this post did such a beautiful job of teasing the film plot without giving anything away....then, first comment—SPOILT!!!!

Don't forget his pre-Kyle Reese performance in "The Fan" with Lauren Bacall. This movie was where I learned of the existence of something called a "gay bar."

A lot more gay-related searches than I would have predicted...I don't know what that means, exactly, but what I am imagining it means makes for a good time!

Socialization can be made easier by mixing in another breed (like the Shepherd/Lab mixture I had).

Let me know what you think.

I've pointed this out many times over the years...some people agree with me and some don't...but the most satisfactory explanation for LOST I ever found (not perfect, but damn close) was a series of videos compiled by a user named "Duphe." He seemed to have the perfect sort of mind for making connections and tying

I wish they had shown more of the bar crowd's reactions.

I always suspected that Rickman's a fairy....

And I said in MY VERY FIRST REPLY that the gay rights movement did not treat NAMBLA as a "fellow traveler." That term suggests that the gay rights movement was in agreement with and supported the goals of NAMBLA. That is not true.

I don't even know what you're trying to say with that sentence...what reputable gay activist organization wants to be associated with them?

Less than a handful of examples does not indicate that "gay activists treated pedophiles as 'fellow travelers.'" And in the text that you provided, you've shown that there is much more evidence that NAMBLA was considered a fringe element and that no reputable activist organization wanted to be associated with them.
