What about Mark Kotsay being a great guy?

+1

rent the movie Clerks to watch on VHS in my living room.

Hopefully they'll ask if they can stay with you.

I would've been shocked if you had. I highly recommend checking out their bandcamp site (jamesrabbit.bandcamp.com) and listening to the album "Perfect Waves." Really really good.

Now playing

I'm imagining there's a rabbit theme. James Rabbit.

Who? Oh, you mean Benedict Arnold. Yeah, we had him when he was good and cheap. I've got to admit, it's pretty nice to watch him be terrible nowadays.

That is definitely the worst part about this rivalry. From the Red Sox perspective, there isn't one, because they just dominate the Angels in the postseason. AND they get to eat delicious clam chowder all the time. Totally blows.

Hey, I'm an Angels fan. I need to be able to shit all over the accomplishments of Red Sox players and think that they're all douchebags. It's nothing personal. It's just that I hate every single one of those assholes.

Apparently I wasn't clear that that's exactly what I was talking about. I was saying that Steve_U would be the one to talk about video games, not me.

No way, dude. Steve_U is the video game guy. We have similar avatars, so I understand the confusion.

I hate the Red Sox more than anything, but I've always enjoyed watching that wacky knuckler. 200 wins is not that good for 19 years worth of work, though.

I played a ton of FIFA 10, although I never played online. If I can find a job before FIFA 12 comes out, I will definitely be buying it the day it does. Wouldn't mind doing some online play with some Deadspinners.

This took a lot of work. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. S'mores are the absolute worst tailgate food.

Yeah, that bothered me a little bit, but from everything I've read about the construction of the book it sounds like he kept pretty serious notes about how the thing was supposed to be structured, and the editor followed those as closely as possible. And the fact that it may not be finished would bother me if it were

I've got two reading projects going on right now. The first is reading everything by Thomas Pynchon. Finally finished Gravity's Rainbow and then V. The Pynchon project is on a break while I'm reading The Pale King which I'm about 1/3 of the way through and really enjoying. The second project is biographies of every US

I think so. I really like the word "gazonga" though, so I might not be the best person to evaluate this kind of thing.

This one was actually funny.
