The Cubs Way.
The Cubs Way.
Too lazy to Google but based on what I remember about buying a few packs...I’m guessing 1999.
I just...don’t preorder, unless there’s a decent incentive and I was going to buy on day 1 anyway. And by decent incentive, I mean a physical object or a code for a digital game - no DLC or costumes or the like. But if the store wants to give me a shirt or a VC game or something, and like I said I was probably going…
I enjoyed how you alternated between calling amiibos “toys” and “figures” as the tone of the article waned. I’m sure there are kids that play with them, just as there are adults that display them. But they’re BARELY toys - my LEGO sets are just as much of a toy.
I’d do it twice.
He said it was on purpose, because it’s just something he always does and he wanted to make the game feel as normal as possible so he didn’t change his routine.
Fruit on the bottom, hope on top.
That’s not just Game Stop, that’s all retail. In a single day I’ve had gov’t conspiracies and you’re-a-drone-being-paid-too-much thrown in my face...the same day that I had “real life Ghostbusters” come through and give me their card. And that was not the weirdest business card I got that day.
I can’t work retail any…
To be fair, our beers are only 8.50.
Yes, but if it was a Retron or nothing...
Plus, you gotta give it credit for having HDMI. I’ve seen modern TVs that don’t HAVE the RCAs to hook up to which would limit you to...the NES and its RF adapter.
If that’s how you feel, okay. I think you’re short-selling the Retrons, which generally do the job better than a PC emu.
You’d rather have a Retron than NO games.
If only because the camera NEVER catches it live, so all of a sudden you just see someone sliding across the plate and the catcher diving at them.
The fact that you’re defending a Boston team suggests you’re a walking douchnozzle.
Which, btw, I think would be spelled douchenozzle.
I’m a type 1 diabetic - a few years back I had a seizure from low blood sugars and I couldn’t talk. I was able to write, but it was like my brain forgot how to use my vocal chords. I passed out in the hospital when they were drawing blood, and then I was fine. It was a really weird experience, topped off by the nurse…
I agree with you. And Dante.
One of them also dropped a line that was very Yogiism:
You missed the +1 by not using “pee pressure”.
Same here. It’s a good chance for me to catch up on my non-DC and Marvel books in my pull!
They worked on it last year because 1) comics are written MONTHS in advance and 2) it was always planned to line up as DC moved. The whole point Orian was trying to make was that it’s an event that could be written in advance and cleared and published while DC’s basically shut down for a couple of months. That being…
