Loot crates aren’t the only way to progress, that is a lie and misinformation. You’re supposed to craft, the loot boxes are there as a bonus, not something to be relied on. That’s like relying on nitro in a race game but not using the gas at all.

That’s not how it works, you’re not supposed to rely on the crates for progression, you’re supposed to craft what you want/need, try to think about what cards you want to carry into battle and what cards you want to have side decked should the need arises you can swap cards out between spawns.

To be fair they were all unlocked but far fewer of them and it was random chance to play as one, just any old fool who happens to stumble upon the hero icon in the match. Now anyone can play so long as they do well in the match and spend the battle points to jump in as said character.
