Sorry. Yeah, I was saying that both Haunted Mansion and Pirates wait times have demonstrably increased because of FP+

I agree.

Both went up after FP+. Depends on the crowd level, but the average is about 20% longer lines for both.

They both got worse. I have the Excel spreadsheet to prove it.

I could not agree more with your last paragraph.

If you are referring to Buzz Lightyear, it actually has a pretty terrible OHRC. It has a OHRC of 720, the same as Peter Pan. Right now Haunted Mansion and Pirates are tied for the best OHRC (2880).

I felt that way at first as well, but once I wrapped my head around the new system, I actually prefer it.

This would be my guess. Almost a hybrid of SOAT and the Potter ride at Universal.

They are playing the long game. There is no doubt, FP+ has dramatically increased the waits for traditionally walk-on attractions.

You will be able to ride more than once in a day, but it will require planning on your part and understanding the system.

Knowledge is king.

But here is the thing. They have budgeted over 2 Billion (with a B) for the creation and rollout of MyMagic+ (the umbrella in which MDE, FP+, MagicBands, the utilization of the LE Bluetooth chips, etc.). MyMagic+ is Disney’s fifth gate. To put the $2 Billion in perspective, the construction cost of Animal Kingdom was

Actually, I am in the process of creating a podcast to talk about Disney, with its focus being data driven analysis of touring, but with a humorous tone.

As a Disney nerd, instead of asking “how it will work”, the better question is whether it will have a sufficient OHRC (Operational Hourly Ride Capacity).

If their HQ is a distillery, then they have to film at the Buffalo Trace distillery. It is just perfect. I can already picture a fight sequence taking within one of the warehouses. Exploding barrels of bourbon and quip about the “Angel’s share.”

Exactly, instead of Arthurian names, they are named after American whiskeys; Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Old Grand-dad, Elijah Craig, Pappy Van Winkle, Evan Williams, Basil Hayden, etc.

Or, he is a member of an American version of the Kingsmen, but instead of Arthurian names, they are named after American whiskeys; Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Old Grand-dad, Elijah Craig, Pappy Van Winkle, Evan Williams, Basil Hayden, etc.

We already rent a car whenever we need to drive a long distance for a variety of reasons. The primary one is that we drive our cars into the ground and don’t trust either currently to make it on a long trip. But secondary reasons are i) you can find dirt cheap rates on rentals and ii) its nice to drive a different car.

Why do you think Doc looping the cable is what caused the clock to stop working? Lightening striking the tower is enough to cause it to malfunction.
