I think the biggest failure was you were either a true blue hero, or a slightly sarcastic true blue hero. At least in the originals, you could basically be the space equivalent of a corrupt cop. Whereas in Andromeda, you’re kind of a conquistador, but a really nice one who is occasionally bitchy about doing things. 

A0M felt like it would have been a great game when it came out on my PS2 in 2004.

Funny thing is, I think a lot of the anger people have with this show, the show kind of agrees with them.Why can’t this be more like old Star Trek? The theme of the show seems to be the characters trying to get back to that place, even if their world now isn’t. 

Crud, I read Sledgehammer while I was skimming, was hoping this was about the 1980s TV series Sledge Hammer!

Because what’s life without nitpicking, the radio drama was really more of a phenomenon starting in the 1930s.
