This just confirm the simple fact: no matter how safe a rider you are the real threat is other motorists.
@Kuro: gasp..n-not the banjos!
What's next right hand turns?
All vehicles regardless of make or size must carry an American V8 that displaces no less than 300 ci. All engines must be carbureted unless with special authorization from the State appointed Hoon Lord.
@ferric oxide: ...well from what I heard the insurance company is now claiming that the infamous pelican DID actually had a hand in the matter. Their Gecko spokesman was interviewed saying "...security footage clearly shows the bird switched the trans to gear and popped the parking brake".
Sorry, but a lame video like that just devalues the car, and it's a shame because I'm sure it's very expensive and probably legit too. Why didn't they hand the car over to TopGear like that Veritas guy did.
The thing lives to it's name...it spoils the car.
@MillenniumFalconGT: so true, and I do like the 458 in particular, but I'm just stoked that now a new flavor for the supercar koolaid.
Wow, now thats a work of art. It's good to see a serious contender step up to the likes of Ferrari.

I would proudly drop a Ford 427 Side oiler in every car I could get my hands on...even if it was an original mid 60s Corvette stingray or Yenko Camaro, and I would sport large " powered by Ford" decals all over it.
@JC Whitless: y'know this is killing me, because I can only imagine a smart, witty, and a totally politically incorrect image being posted in your reply. Sadly since I don't have a commenter's star I can see it. Bummer... :(
Well posted and played. This had QOTD written all over it...at least that's what my readings showed up.
@rocco.butterscotch: ahem, you mean retarded-inbred product of incest cousins.

At the Kragen's (now O'Rielly's) discount bin I found a 90 amp arc welder for about $80 bucks. It's still in box 'cause I haven't found a use for it yet (believe me, I will) but I'd say if there was any crazy impulse buy I've done so far this was it.
