Uh, film on the big screen is at least HD quality. The CG looked just as clear and terrible then as it does on Blu-ray now. Same for wires, which people act like we can see now only due to HD, but they were there in theaters. Just not on VHS or DVD.

The best ones today still marry CGI to real looking locations, sets, props and practical effects. Stuff like Civil What’s airport battle looks super fake when it’s just Scarlett Johansson standing on a green blanket.

Hillary used to be a centrist but this election she ran mostly on identity politics. If she had anywhere near a normal working economy message she would have won.

You win elections by appealing to the center. That’s how Obama won in 2008 and 2012. That’s how Hillary lost, not getting those centrists in key states that Obama got. If he went radical Left right now he would hurt the party’s chances in 2 and 4 years.

Yeah, the movie was great but I don’t see the potential for a TV show here. It’s a relatively small concept as everything is on a train. I don’t really want 13 serialized hours of flashbacks and other padding.

She lost because of a combo of not motivating the base and not speaking to working class whites. Didn’t even step foot in Wisconsin FFS. As for what didn’t motivate the base I am sure the emails were part of it, but she was a very flawed candidate from the start.
