Really starting to think you're a parody account.

They shouldnt be on the same level. The movies and shows should stand completely alone because the vast vast majority never delve into anything else. All this “canon” side material is lip-service to boost sales and always will be.

The secret truth is that even now today the movies are all that really matters and they will overwrite the new “canon” books in a heartbeat if they feel they need to.

I have only ever watched the movies and I understood everything. I think some people are more invested and want every little detail, but they’re not required and never should be.

Fair enough, just don’t expect that personal feeling to be widely agreed with. My wife is 8 years younger and now that we’re both in our 30s it’s never even mentioned.

JFK and The Doors are boring? What are you, 12?

The man in a relationship being 10ish years older is super duper common in real life.

I stopped watching, but wasn’t there a plot where they found the location of Baron Strucker and gave it to the Avengers? I assumed they knew Coulson was alive if they got information from him. Maybe it was handled in a different way though. Either way I would be fine with the show acknowledging The Avengers know, as

Current obsession with grimdark? It’s not the 90s anymore, all people do now-a-days is complain when something is “grimdark.” That was a post-Matrix style through Dark Knight or thereabouts. Now it’s changing, as the in style always does.

Fair enough. I’ve heard that argument before and while it makes no sense to me personally I can respect it. Especially for a childhood program.

Even blu ray is not as high quality as the original theatrical exhibition. I’m guessing you mean nostalgia for a VHS tape or something?

People want their little TV shows validated by the movies, but the movies shouldn't lower themselves to do so.

Agents of Shield is not a good show, not that many people watch it, and having it impact the movies is just a bad idea all around. The Netflix stuff has a much higher chance.

The music over the animated end credits of Winter Soldier is probably my favorite piece of music in the MCU.

Yes, his work is always worth watching. The article acts like that’s a surprise but it’s anything but.

Eh, I don’t think bad or cliche writing equals misogyny. That’s a strong word to throw around about a character who wants her dad’s approval and dresses half as sexy as teens at the mall do in real life. I get that those things can be better handled, but misogyny? Nah, that’s typical internet exaggeration.

Never got into the cartoon much but the 80s Larry Hama comics were a big deal for me. Doubt they would hold up today though.

Second one is thoroughly okay. Not great, but not terrible. I had fun with it. First one was insanely bad.

I watched the second not long ago and am desperately trying to justify your strong attack, but I got nuthin’.

She’s still in a male prison though. Sounds like that is the core issue, not her hair, which has to conform to the prison. There are real issues with sending her to a female prison too. It’s a shit situation.
