The Wicker Cat

The situation’s a lot more nuanced than that

He’s just a boy in love - he can’t be held responsible for his actions!

I have watched the ending set twice. As painful as watching Midge talk about Shy the way she does, it’s painful because I’m gay (and from my life experiences back in the 70s and 80s), not because any of it was meant to out, or harm Shy. Midge was freaking out about the Moms situation, her not being right for the

Just from the trailer, I’m guessing that the twist is that Mirren is playing McKellen all along and ends up stealing his money.

It was literally jaw dropping. No primly standing on a chair, tying a noose, no tears. Just a sudden decision.

I gotta ask, man, why do you keep beating this drum? As a frequent reader, and an Airbnb host, I’m starting to take it personally. There are over 2 million Airbnb hosts. Sure there are going to be problems every now and then, especially when a majority of them start out unfamiliar with how the hospitality business

Raw is funny as fuck and some great Goddamn comedy, misogyny and homophobia be damned. And since the worst thing Eddie ever did (that I know of, anyway) was give a ride and possibly accept (pay for?) a beej from a trans-person, it still holds up better than, say Bill Cosby: Himself.

If the baby is evil,  at least we know we can kill it with water.

I thought the ending of The Long Walk was pretty clearly:

I don’t know how she is in the film (well I’ve heard things but hearing isn’t seeing) but in the book I felt like she was a symbol of Eddie’s fear and repression, alongside his mommy issues. I suppose you could also interpret asexuality, rather than homosexuality, but there were various elements that made me lean

The Himmlerettes.

Wayne Williams was convicted of killing two adults. So far no one's been convicted of killing the children. John Douglas believes he killed some, but not all. The investigation into the murders has been reopened.

The Ricky/Pray relationship is messy bootz, but I appreciate it that its a complicated narrative. Pray wants to be desired by a sweet young thing. Ricky is acting out of fear of rejection/dying. What I HOPE happens is that they step back from the brink. I know many gay friendships that started out sexually and

Good bye to a criminally underrated show.  I’m not sure I like how it ended with Robert veering back to Francis (and Jackie’s sudden heel turn) but they played the best hand with the cards they were dealt.  RIP.

Seriously, y’all. Where the heck is Office Space? Is there gonna be a special feature on it on Friday or something?

I don't understand why you didn't address Piper's blatant white privilege regarding the weed and drug testing. Yes, her privilege has been prominent since the beginning but this particular case was painfully glaring, especially considering her parole officer is black.

“I would’ve worked in a factory.” [Pause] “Managed a factory.”

The plot was more like Frank is courted by the top of the line organization that will guarantee high social standing but only admits lighter-skinned members. There is also a less prestigious group that admits everyone and is a lot more fun. He joins the fun group.

I'm surprised that no one has come back to comment that this was the episode of Megan's first appearance. I know its and old review and no one will probably see this but a couple people but still it is a surprise. It will be interesting when the decide to go back through the series if that is mentioned. I was
