The book is all that and more. I am thinking they will probably stray farther from the source material in season 2.

He, Coco and Baby Chanel are a delightful feature of my twitter feed.  There is true love there.

It always helps one’s future reputation to be murdered.

The main weakness of the book and I suspect the movie is that the Big Bad lady just makes me think of the Nonblondes doing that Hey Hey Hey..What’s Going On?  video.

I think Ted Levine is more terrifying here than he was in Silence of the Lambs.

I was playing with the idea of not watching, because the series finale truly stuck the landing. But I’m glad I did. It was satisfying.  Kudos to Mr. Paul.

Recalling that scene in Boardwalk Empire. Richard Harrow.

They are okay and shaved like that may add something but truffle oil is loathsome and all truffled products are overpriced.

The dismal review/rating is a bit much. I personally think the series is fun. Certainly, it’s better than 72% of American Horror episodes. It’s perfectly acceptable summer fare and the cast is appealing.

It looks increasingly like Carolyn and Konstantin want to position Eve permanently as V’s handler.  He wants to retire.
