As the anchor points out, they are voting to debate ...

Ok there Rush.

an insurance regulation that will strip access from tens of millions Americans... Jesus, you boot lickers

Except it’s not. Because nobody who voted yes gives a shit. They’re too busy patting each other on the back and jacking each other off because they voted to let people die.

Here’s the short version: The US Justice system operates on a principle of “innocent until proven guilty.” Therefore, it is not a person’s job to prove that they are innocent. The BP agents are asking you to prove that you are not guilty of a crime, despite the fact that they have no evidence to suggest that you

Please explain how your insurance costs will go down? You’ll just have the option of not having insurance like it was before the ACA.

You paying for other people’s stuff is how any insurance works. Insurance isn’t a savings account that you’re paying into. You not understanding that doesn’t make you soulless, but it doesn’t make you educated on what you’re talking about either.

Nonsense. Your employer screwed it up because they had some old ass plan and got cheap when it came time to change with the ACA.

You might have an argument if there were a phalanx of EPA inspectors randomly stopping motorists to check their emissions. As far as I know, there is not. Therefore you’re creating a false equivalency, comparing a theoretical impedance to American liberty to an actual impedance to American liberty.

And because our dear leaders said so, then it’s ok!

Plenty of non-citizens pay taxes too.

You’re underestimating how bad it is. It’s not 100 miles from the border; it’s 100 miles from a point of entry. So that’s 100 miles from Mexico, 100 miles from Canada, 100 miles from any point on the coastline and 100 miles from any registered international airport.

No one is asking border agents not to check IDs at the border. I’m not sure where this article or any comment stated otherwise. If they want to keep the border safe, I would suggest starting at the border (or even better, starting within the US in general, such as drug legislation and the process of becoming a legal

I think the headline might be improved by stating somehow that she wasn’t crossing the border at when the agent confronted her.

“Just following orders, nothing to see here.”

I think the issue is that this isn’t the border. Nobody is saying they shouldn’t be asking for ID at the border. They are totally within their rights to do so.

Don’t boarder patrol agents have better things to do, like, I dunno, protecting the boarder??? Is there such a surplus of agents now that they have to move them away from the boarder to keep them busy??

This guy looks exactly like what you would expect a derp-a-derp ICE agent to look like.
