he is awsome, but bulbasaur is more awsome in the beginning. Towards the end their awsomeness becomes less relevant. especially squirtle since everyone gets a lapras.

but who is the best starter of all time? of ALL generations!
I always pick the grass starter. there are always a ton of cool fire and water pokemon in the game to choose from in the game.
squirtle might be the best on a solo run. but bulbasaur made the game the easiest. carrying the team in the beginning when it was most important (since all you had was like a rattata and a pidgey) by the end when squirtle would really shine you had enough other cool pokemon that your starter was no longer the only…
they all do a good job of holding your hand in the beginning. The trick is to talk to everyone in the towns. Early towns they people impart basic tips and information, later towns they give you cool stuff. the single player game is really just a more complicated rock paper scissors (lizard spock). you have a…
My #1 Nuzlock run rule. No starter pokemon. You pick any starter and have it catch your first pokemon. level that pokemon to 5, then thats it. release/box the starter. That pokemon is YOUR real first pokemon. only play with ones YOU caught.
that was gonna be my advice as well. I am trying to catch all the pokemon on each route as I go which is kinda an unintended grinding session as well. If I left Exp Share on I would be so far overleveled it would be nuts.
I want the Follow-up. What did you say/do after that creepy thing was said? Were they called out on their behavior? I want to know how many get away with their creepyness.
so does that mean the top screen is technically a touchscreen as well?
to be fair, white 2 takes place right after white 1 and the game assumes you know what happened there quite a few times (I owned and played them and had to go back to a wiki to remember a few things.) B/W 1 were a great pair of games, but the sequels were kinda just filler to buy them time to make X and Y. The…
yea that was mainly my point. why would easy mode be given after you beat the main game. if a younger child (as an example) was having trouble and would benefit from an easier mode, you would think that should be something available at the start of the game.
you have options like healing with either pokecenters/people only, or items only (which is a lot harder). and the exp share thing is optional, so if you find it too easy with everyone gaining exp you can always go old school and turn it off.
the best part about nuzlockes are that you can always add more rules. Give yourself the "no gifted pokemon" rule. I have a feeling it will make it a lot harder. I always get way too attached to my guys about 1/2 through the game and grind soo much between gyms so I'm like 5-6 levels above everyone just so I…
I remember with Black and White 1 I found a site that gave you different DNS numbers to punch into the wifi and get the event pokemon outside the dates/locations. All were still from nintendo/gamestop where ever. I got a few legendaries and a mew and maybe a surfing or flying pikachu
growlithe, houndour, poochyena, furfrou, snubble and herdier. Bam, dog team
I always nuzlock without a starter. He catched my 1st 'mon and from there he's boxed. makes it harder since you don't get a special super 'mon to start. you are a nobody with a worthless pokemon just like everyone else.
I saw a conformation of seasons a while back. They are usually really good about throwing in everything you need to evolve all pokemon. There will be a mossy rock in some forest somewhere for Leafeon, you'll find a Magmarizer laying around somewhere for Magmar etc.
and I really think Black and white 2 was a stall to give them more time to complete X & Y. A sequal story in the same region with no real upgrades? I really enjoyed it, but it was more of a DLC story continuation than a new game.
sort of, but it made no sense. you had to beat the game to get the keys for easy and challenge modes, but they don't work for you. you have to trade them to someone with the opposite game. even then, you already beat the game, what good would easy mode be to you then?
yea, a pokedex that would help you do IN GAME what everyone else does already online with a computer/phone. It would put bulbapedia out of business...
