Cecilia, I just want to say how much I appreciate your role as Kotaku’s resident Weird Shit People Do on the Internet reporter.

I’d say DropBox is guilty before the exboyfriend. Bethany said she assumed he’d deleted the photos; but at no point does she state that she asked him to nor that he said he had.

Both the ACLU and MPAA argue that nonconsensual pornography is protected by the 1st Amendment.

Those photos are stunning. The way they play with color, angle, fantasy and reality...it’s brilliant. Now I want an actual movie made featuring all of these people.

There’s far too many gender issues in this story than one could unpack in ten lifetimes.

If you’re confused about this move, I suggest you read “Girls to the Front” a history of Riot Grrl, and why musicians like Kathleen Hannah felt it was important to create space for women in the front of the venue. It’s wonderful to see this sentiment being carried on here for Women of Color.

this is something that comes from the Riot Grrl movement of asking women to move to the front so they can be safer. Obviously it’s optional, but I think it’s cool she’s doing it.

Kathleen Hanna does something similar when she tells her crowd, “All girls to the front.”

On the other hand, why should I give two shits what right wing publications think about anything whatsoever?

“You can totally go over to America, the land of awesomeness unlike New Zealand (why are you so proud of living here in this shitheap I don’t even know) and get a minimum wage job grubbing for tips, and it’ll still be better than here! wait, why are you offended?? IT’S A COMPLIMENT COME BACK”

Its’ so weird— we have smart, educated good looking people here that the US is dying to deport and yet they are recruiting in New Zealand?

It happened to me, many a year ago. I was serving an American couple and got to chatting with them, they told me that with my customer service skills and education I could make sooooooo much more money in the States. Which...was nice, I guess? They meant to compliment me? Then they left a shitty tip and went their

Baroque was a higly stylized art movement highlighted by vivid colours, pronounced lines, etc. which created intensity of the subject. Basically, nothing subtle or minimalist.

Kentaro is the real talent and the twins are tv drama. Everyone thinks that because they get on the show, they’re “the best of the best” um no.

Rei and Yohji are laughing at you, not with you, right now.

Yeah I keep saying that Brandon is basically just designing Yeezy but it’s hard to say if it’s copying or just following a trend. You were able to find 2 examples right away of similar looks. Even at big Fashion Weeks a lot of the designers will pull some of the same stuff through their collections. Trends are usually

I’m not sure which line-reading made me laugh harder: Tim talking about the cheating or Kenya’s unenthusiastic “These Pilot erasable pens are awesomely dope.”

This was gripping because I’ve known an inordinate number of twins in my lifetime and you have to remember that they’re basically (more so than others) the same person. Imagine literally losing part of yourself. At the same time, I’m sorry to say both gals have that cheater “vibe”. Manipulative, always putting on an

Based on information I’ve gleaned from reddit (sorry) and an interview that Amy did recently, supposedly Margarita and Michael as well as many of the other designers had all complained to the producers about the cheating, but the producers didn’t do anything so that they’d have a more dramatic runway - which they got.
