Yes yes and yes.

So you think the solution is to kill them off with billions in venture capital and an app? How’s about instead we demand the tech bros go after the real problem, the wholesale food distributors who don’t let small independents negotiate decent prices like the mega stores? Small timers then have to simultaneously pass

This white person jumped over “sketchy” right onto “terrifying”!!

I don’t know what city you are in or what the bodegas are like where you are, but I cannot agree on a single one of those points:

you think Bodegas are ...“terrifying?” I’m going to need you to elaborate what it is about bodegas that gives you anxiety.

As opposed to a tiny box of random pre-selected shit that will come with an even higher markup? Yeah.

Is it possible the douche with the mic intentionally called the obvious girl a boy because he wanted to insult a kid wearing a hippie-dippy tie-dye t-shirt?

Added to this: the trademarking of ordinary sentences? Is this the apex of greed? It puts her in the same class as Trump.

Party like it’s 1989

Not a huge fan of Madigan or her deputies - they’re not the most pro-active bunch (they sat on the Laquan Mcdonald case for a year, waiting on public opinion to finally force them to file charges, among other issues) - but this is a big step. I don’t know any Chicagoans who don’t have some wild tale about police
