I have always disliked this man. ‘Ye is one of the most insecure, nepolionic characters in the industry currently. A chicago kid coming up and making himself a very reasonable music career? I’m all for it, except. Except. He’s become this mastadon of self masturabtion that just makes me sick. The way he treats women

THIS.

One of the groups I have both felt and seen some of the greatest vitrolic anger and ire for women from is the white, cis, GAY (but straight looking/performing I don’t know the actual term) males. I think it is very interesting to look into that place of hatred, where women literally serve no purpose for the happiness

Also when things are produced in mass and or outside of the US, all they have to do is keep the pattern and BAM. Perfect, awesome knock-offs. I have several gorgeous bags from an artisian (I call him that be cause they’re all made by hand) who makes gorgeous purses, from the same leather that celine and some birkens

Don’t be a dick, if you order during shitty weather, tip 35-50% and try to do cash if at all possible, retaurants can skim electronic payments easier than handing the guy his actual $.

No matter how much you “research” and “believe” in your own neurosies, babies don’t have a fucking choice. Feed the kid the shit it needs until its old enough to understand the fact that animals die for your food (or whatever stupid diet you’re on) and can explain it to them. I hope there were abuse charges filed.

When I lived in Wisconsin, there was this level of woodsy-toughness I had never experienced before in the big city. I also noticed that there was far-less of a community of accountability set up. CONSTANTLY, and I mean without fail, every drinking holiday, someone ends up dead in the Milwaukee river, all because no

So far you’re the only aggressively agitated responder. But I feel you. You can continue to be cranky, I only feel the need to condescend to continued need to “put me in my place" as you are doing. Have a great day! I hope you get plenty on spinning inside in!

True gear can be expensive - but no more so than any usual winter gear needed. I’m not arguing the fact but I can get a good hard bike up and runnin for $200 and maybe $50 a year for a tune up- a good shell jacket - merino base layer and under armor bought on the off season with boots and gloves will maybe run you

Other than purchase and standard maintenance - what are the hidden costs of a bicycle?

Proto-fascist is a new one.

It takes practice. It’s something most people can work up to doing, just like people ca learn to run a mile or lift a certain amount of weight. Making ti fun is half the battle!

I never once, not once, said anyone was lesser than me. I think biking inside is goofy, I didn’t ever say “YOURE AN IDIOT AND IM COOL AND YOURE STUPID HAHAHAHA”. I am nothing but encouraging and saying, if you look at my responses, it can be done. With the right help and boost of moral I think everyone can do it. And

I would be more than glad to not only teach you, but help you get a bike up and running. Start small and then you can work your way up distance and speed wise. I am a bike adovcate because I truly believe that bikes are the best thing that a great city like Chicago needs to pull themselves into the future. With

You too can do it! It takes practice and training and good gear, but so worth it!

Sorry you had a crappy expirience. It’s not for everyone the way things are now but hopefully it will get better the more people who bike. If you ever want help or a buddy, let me know!

If you ever change your mind there is an awesome community waiting here for you who would help teach and protect you. Good on you Divvy-friend. When it warms up let me know and I’ll totally ride with you :)

It’s totally fine. As someone CLEARLY better than you and not someone who has practiced, trained and still gets cold and wet, I HUMBLY accept your apology and really genuinely hope that you, too, someday can be reborn as someone as TOUGH and COOL AS ME. (All that aside, I am proud of myself and like to share. You too

I ride regular streets, the 606 is a joke and the lakefront is just abou the most congested place on earth. Divvys are heavy, show and incrdibly dangerous. I will happily lend you a bike and take you for some rad street rides if you want, or we can dip south and take the lakefront down to the Science and Industry.

Exactly. But a spin class apparently doesn’t cost $0 either. Yearly it’s cheaper than any gym membership on the block. I’m super glad they found what works for them though!
