I race Alley cats. I have messenger friends. I do the RW24 every year. 20 miles can be really easy, or really hard depnding on how you do it, what sort of bike youre using and yes terraine matters. But 20 miles doesn’t HAVE to be difficult.

I live in Chicago. It’s -5 and snowing right now. :)
I am glad you found a workout that works for you. As a mom that’s really awesome. Hopefully as your kids grow you can find a way to work bikes into your lives, weekends or summer nights. Keep up the good work!
Don’t. Don’t ever apologise. I just reccommend a real bike and always will.
That’s so sad, and I am so sorry for your loss. I have multiple hospital stay and lost friends from the dangers presented only by traffic laws and drivers who refuse to share the road. I’m glad that gym-cycling works. I am just tired of people treating actual cycling as a crime in and of it’s self.
Anytime you wanna visit me in the midwest for a winter bike-athon hit me up. <3
I’m so sorry. Yes it’s insane, but whya re we treating bikes, and cyclists as lesser people? We deserve the road just as much as anyone else, and we deserve safety too. Me no likey hills, gimme a flat out or streets any day for a workout.
That made me feel better about my soggy butt.
“Chicago cyclists can’t be charged with a DUI”, says Brendan Kevenides, a lawyer who specializes in bike cases and calls himself the Chicago Bicycle Advocate. In 1995, the Illinois Appellate Court decided this issue in People v. Schaefer, upholding the dismissal of criminal charges against a drunk bicyclist. Since…
A) craigslist and a good bike shop paired together can get anyone on a bike. The maintenance is so low and cheap it’s kinda criminal not to get one.I totally understand though, $ upfront can be hard.
I live in Chicago. It’s -5 and snowing today. How you doing?
Having been hit numerous times, and yes on purpose, it sucks. I just don’t comprehend the need to pay to bike, or run. To use weights? Sure. Swim? Yes. Fancy Machines? Ok. But a BIKE? Or even a Treadmill are goofy.
Sure thing. I can go have a picnic and have a beer or two, just like you legally can when you drive your car!
It’s so true. Bicycles are awesome transportation. I have never had a driver’s license, there was no need. I have a bike, I live in a city where EVERYTHING is less than a mile from me, nothing I need ever is more than 5. I carry my groceries on my back, pay $0 for tansportation. Sure it can be dangerous, but that’s…
It’s snowing and -5 in Chicago. I’m still going.
Here is a really really novel Idea: Get on a regular bike and ride. I mea sure you an’t do fancy push up things, but its way more fun, you can ride somewhere to drink beer, or have a picnic, or you know go shopping, pick up your groceries.....bikes were never meant to be indoors and $34 a class is truly criminal. I…
That’s a damn good craft man. The wrapping, highlights? I am pleased.
I’m just confused with the plethora of online amazing content why children need ever be exposed to garbage like this. Myth busters, bill NYE, nature, blue planet, wishbone, Carmen San diego, mr. Rodgers....etc are all online, for FREE.
I have
A couple brunettes! And all the expensive ugly sunglasses you could ever want.
