Apologizing to these gargoyles was a mistake—they’ll just continue to bludgeon her with it. They don’t have actual principles. They’re supposedly outraged at Bee’s salty language, but fully support every racist and vulgar excretion from their president and his surrogates. Bee should have doubled down no matter how

Good lord, those people are fucking ugly. Yeeeeesh.

Absolutely not.

My buddy has a Make America Gay Again hat that he wore for a little while, but I think even with the little rainbow on it, it was too similar looking to the real thing. (I know when I first saw it I did a double take and shouted “What the FUCK are you wearing?!”)

Oh that would be simply delightful.

And every single person who pulls the lever for a republican is culpable. That’s the “price of freedom” in this disgusting fucking country.

It helped that the star of All In the Family wasn’t ACTUALLY a vile racist.

But they’re bringing in Captain Marvel—the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel—who I assume will take Warlock’s role in bringing down Thanos.

He actually does wear glasses when he thinks no one is looking at him. Because he’s such a vain fuck. It’s probably why he’s always squinting/afraid of stairs.

Her sketch show for Netflix comes out soon. It finished shooting a couple of weeks ago. Go forth and binge!

Yep. She complimented her makeup, but also called her a liar. And the Aunt Lydia joke seemed to me to be more about how she’s a disgusting theocratic bully.

I mean the bad guys are going to win. It took a year to find their footing but Bolton is going to push for war, and people like Ivanka will help put a happy face on anything. The Republicans have long ago tossed aside any loyalty to the country, and put their party first. There is in fact NOTHING that can stop them.

His mother does this as well apparently. One of her...I guess ladies in waiting (?) carries the, um, royal throne.

I’m reading two books: Anesthesia: The Gift of Oblivion and the Mystery of Consciousness, which was covered recently in the New Yorker and is a fun and easy read. (Though...also creepy.) And the second is Emil Cioran’s On the Heights of Despair, which is a good book for this, um, current political moment. I’m trying

That’s...what you wanted to call him out on? Really?

Of course they’d hate E Pluribus Unum. If we know nothing else about Republicans, it’s that they hate Latins.

Pretty sure that waiting for backup is what any cop would have done.

Unfortunately it is the official motto of the US. Until the 50s there wasn’t an official motto, but the de facto motto was “E Pluribus Unum”, which made sense what with the whole democracy thing. And that’s been on the US seal since the late Eighteenth Century. The God bullshit was in reaction to anti-communist

Oh goodness. If you read it, bring a strong stomach. My girlfriend was reading it recently and the descriptions of what happened to those poor women were so gruesome that I couldn’t bear listening to her read aloud from it.

Ditto. I know that someone at the gym keeps changing the channel to Fox News so...they’re out there. Somewhere...
