Resistance looks phenomenal, if a bit short. I have it and Gravity Rush preordered. I like my Vita, but I've barely used it since beating Uncharted and putting a crapload of time into FIFA and Lumines. Launch was great, but these past few months with no software have been killing me. I have an iPad and a PS3, so I

Insomniac has a studio in Durham as well. NC (especially the Triangle area) actually has a thriving technology base, including game development.

I will be playing the surprisingly great Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. I thought the game looked great when it was originally shown at E3 3+ years ago, but the countless delays made me skeptical. I've only played SP so far, but what I have played easily puts GR in the running for shooter of the year. Phenomenal game,

Any iPad recs? Already jumped on Waking Mars, and I own Osmos, S&S, Canabalt, and GLWG.

Make an iPad edition and I'll go digital. It's that simple GS.

Plus the digital edition is absolute trash. If an iPad friendly version was made, I would be all over it.

Vita has Burning Skies and Gravity Rush coming out in the next couple weeks, so I'll be using mine for the first time in months. The 3DS is not a bad system though. I'd love to have one for Kid Icarus and KH 3DS.

Super 8's ending was sweet/aww inducing. I loved it. Reminded me of ET/Close Encounters. Lost...yeah, that ending was indefensible. But that was more Lindelof/Cuse.

Yeah, Sony played it real safe this generation. Little Big Planet, Warhawk/Starhawk, MAG, and all of TGC/Q-Games' products say hello. Edit: And Heavy Rain.

Has Highprince gotten a release date yet? I just finished WoK myself, and absolutely loved it. But all Sanderson has scheduled for this year is some novella and another standalone cosmere book. Darn it, I want my Stormlight book 2...and my Alloy of Law sequel...and my second Mistborn trilogy...and my Elantris sequel.

The world Rothfuss has created is so compelling. Heck, I would love a Lanre game, as so much of Kvothe's story focuses on him. Plus, he's a badass warrior. Be fun to play for sure, and the ending would probably have me in tears.

The mere existence of this game shot it to the top of my most wanted. If the setting is open world Luthadel, I will die a happy man.

I don't think Sony would force them to make larger games. TGC has been hugely successful doing their DL thing, and I don't see a reason for them to change that. TBH I like the way they've done games up to this point. Journey was a two hour breath of fresh air that I will be going back to some time in the near future.

Isn't she in Scott Pilgrim as well? Hugely underrated actress IMO.

Just Cause 2 and Infamous 2 get my votes. The whole Infamous series has a solid story and great platforming, and New Marais/Empire City are decent sandboxes to play in. Just Cause 2 was just amazing. Massive open world, tons of secrets, and you have a grappling hook! Shooting controls and the story weren't so great,

New SP areas sound fantastic. Plus new equipment?! Chair, every dev needs to follow your lead.

As the guy below you said, Sony's first party devs have a ridiculous amount of freedom. Look at Sucker Punch and Infamous 2. Sony effectively let SP end the franchise so they could tell the story they wanted to tell. ND gets to start a brand new IP at the end of a console generation. Sony does things wrong, but their

Hey Sony, just buy these guys! Journey is an absolutely incredible experience that has already sold a bazillion copies, and you might let them get away like Insomniac did? TGC and Q-Games make the only decent PSN exclusives, and you need as many of those as possible because Microsoft owns the downloadable market on

His other stuff is also pretty funny. And I'm guessing doje means pot?

Now playing

Anyone play GRAW 2 for PSP? Sony just added it to the Vita store and I've heard decent things, plus I need to kill time until Burning Skies. As for my OT contribution, the video above is from the absolutely hilarious Life according to Jimmy channel. Enjoy!
