To me kosher always means “20-80% higher price because F you”. But that may be just me.

Also what a lot of people forget, or chose to ignore, is that once you’re over 50, your chances of getting a new job are severely diminished (unless you happen to be one of the few people where specific experience is really necessary and hard to find). Age discrimination is a real thing that happens WAY more often

Meh. I have upwards of 30 credit cards, mortgages, etc. No idea what my total credit availability is and I don’t care. My score has not gone under 830 for over a decade, and I open new accounts frequently to benefit from promos.

Lol. Because similar shit happens to countless people in the private sector. Only when they’re “furloughed”, it’s not a post-paid vacation. Hence my tiny violin. Do a reality check and see how much better off you are than a lot of the US population. And yes, it’s a large problem that everyone should address, if not

Wait, I’m looking for my tiny violin.

Uhhhhh .. actually brilliant point. Yeah, I guess so.

You need serious help in writing titles. It’s like calling a book “The life of Larry”, and not have a character named Larry.

Unless you’re a dumbass, or have some serious issues with self control with spending, or are trying to stay completely off the grid by using cash - there’s absolutely no reason not to use a credit card for absolutely everything you possibly can.

This^^^. They both have problems. I’m an andoid person but a lot of the family members I “support” are on Apple. It’s nuanced but it’s the same shitshow of problems. Also don’t tout Android as this bastion of “security” and “bug-free-ness”. It’s got problems, especially on a shitton of devices that get zero updates

But, but, but, but unemployment according to today’s official numbers is only at 4.1%!!! There’s no way anyone in our country is left wanting!

It depends on how much you earn, or what your net worth is for the most part. If your paycheck is $2K a month and you take care of a family, your checking account balance probably hovers awfully close to $0. Or if you’re one of the people on social security with no other savings. Yay for that $1,000 monthly check.

Send them into the arts (acting, and the rest really.) - they’ll hear no so many times, the word loses its meaning ;).

This has happened to me in So Cal a couple of times just last month alone.

Ugh macs. I love the machines, I hate where they have been heading over the last few years. The whole “sealed” machine is fucking stupid. The reason I justified spending $2K was because I knew that if I upgraded the memory a bit in 2 years, and add a bigger drive in 3-4 years, and replace my battery every 2-3 years I

Huh only if there was a service as 511 or www.geturgently.com that people could use in such situations...

Republicans and democrats (now and before) are both to blame. Every single year it seems we’re in the same shitstorm of “oh we have to shut down the government because “budget!!””. I don’t care if you mastrubate to Trump or want Pelosi to have your babies.

At this point why not make it a bajizillion? What’s wrong with the term “Life”? I tell you what - it makes the news at “ohhhh!!! look at that high number, it’s the highest yet!”, and people will swoon, and in a week no one will remember this case, except for the victims.

Crossfit likely is still being “coached” by dumbasses. Crossfit is not good for your health the way it’s usually coached. Especially when you assume average physiological intelligence. If you want to lose that fat, tone your muscles, build core strength, etc - there are much better for your body and health options.

I always recommend these:

My hack - build your own home theatre. Yes, it’ll end up costing you a few thousand (good screen, kick ass speakers, receiver, projector, couches, HTPC, etc. ) but that pays for itself very quickly.
