I put an electric air horn on my hayabusa. T’was incredibly effective altering cagers to my presence.

I am still laughing as I picture that turbine takeoff. That would be a great option on a quiet-running electric — so many engine noises you could pick from: turbine, lawnmower, outboard, snowmobile, Harley, etc.

Stephanie’s Mom ROCKS!

I’m just thinking how funny it would be to put a train horn on a smart car.

While I don’t disagree with you, “I don’t think I’ve ever had to do an oil change without other work being timed to be done in conjunction with it.” is very perplexing to me.

Spend $25 and do it yourself, knowing it gets done right, or spend $60+ and have no real idea whether it was done right or not.

Love makes you do stupid things...

Just face it man, the only reason 60 year olds don’t seem old anymore is because you got older too.

The sign people don’t get to do this in MI (I used to be one and we would get fired possibly). Some people drive so angry...this might make them crack a smile and think twice about it (this would be more effective than any slogan that the Office of Highway Safety Planning ever came up with).

Agreed. PennDOT needs to start doing this on the Blue Route.

Well no one can have a sense of humor when hipster writers have to attack anyone else doing anything else as lame to try and make themselves seem cooler. We all know the less you like things the cooler you are.

Too busy manufacturing outrage I guess.

Well, when we are an entire society of victims nobody can have a sense of humor any more.

No inertial switch for fuel cutoff? I can’t imagine there is ever a case that the car should keep running when it’s at 90 degrees to the road. Didn’t Ford have those 30 years ago?

Everyone who owns a Lexus is an asshat. It’s the official car of asshats. Every single vehicle that has ever tailgated me with it’s high-beams on has been a Lexus. Almost every car I’ve ever seen weave in and out of traffic to get to a red light has been a Lexus (most of the others have been Audis).

I was trying to figure out who puts in a $50,000 bid right after some guy bids $28,000,000, and then that guy just taps out. “Nope $28,000,000 was my budget, I won’t go over”

Be relieved that you’re on Jalopnik and not some shady subreddit where everyone’s gonna call you a “faget” for making a mistake.

Unless you can find the law, I’m going to say the CHP officer was using it as an excuse to pull her over. I geek out on license plate and CVC stuff, and I’ve never heard of it before.

I don’t think that’s an actual law, as I’m kind of a DMV / California Vehicle Code geek, and I’ve never heard of that.

It’s not Prestige Lexus - there’s no such place.
