The number of people who shit on the Supra is unreal. It’s an utterly fantastic car, and an absolute BARGAIN of a performance package at its given price point, but the “It’S a BmW” crowd has ruined it even though the B58 is a monster of an engine and absolutely worthy of the Supra nameplate.

Well at least for those of us looking to refinance an existing auto loan, that should hopefully not be an issue :D

Caterham owner here. This comment section just seems like a place for boomers to whine about a lot of genuinely useful technology that they “swear” they don’t need despite most of them probably having needed it at some point at least once in their life whether they want to admit it or not (e.g. blind spot monitors.)

Samesies!

Before everyone piles into the comments to TRASH the very notion of simulating a manual, consider this:

Except the Raptor is too expensive for normal people who want a performance vehicle. That's the point he's making.

I’m aware. As I’ve said to all the other comments, they definitely had an A90 Supra in the image originally, and I’m pretty sure it didn’t specify a MK4 Supra either. I commented pretty soon after the article was posted, lol.

The article originally pictured an A90 Supra.

My dad has the BMW variant. I think the Supra looks way better, lol. Different strokes I guess. And I'm the one who talked my dad into the Z4 lol.

The article definitely had an A90 Supra photo earlier... That or someone put something in my drink.

I assume the person who said the Supra was saying it as a joke. The only people who shit talk the Supra are people who have never driven it and just hate it for the [utterly excellent] BMW engine, or the [admittedly polarizing] styling. It is a FANTASTIC sports car, and an excellent value at its price point. My

Except you’re doing the same thing every half-brained commenter is doing, and associating the problem with turbski things. This could have happened to any engine. It was just a bad process that resulted in contamination in the engine during assembly.

Its a shame you’re such a miserable person, because the build itself is absolutely fascinating and it’s worth at least skipping around the video to see some of the highlights

I think a better solution would be cameras on planes. Anyone captured on video grabbing their bags during an emergency evacuation gets placed on a no-fly-list indefinitely until they pay a $15,000 fine.

Wouldn’t work when the plane completely burns to a crisp, but would still work a lot of the time.

I’m confused. I think you misunderstood the point the author was making. You are both on the same side of the fence...

The problem is you tried the tiny one, not the full-sized model that I saw at my local car show the other day.

This was NOWHERE near cringe enough to merit an entire article. It's just a goofy 2000s commercial...

Close enough, I guess? Lol.

It is definitely a polarizing design, as evidenced by the fact that I think it looks awesome inside and out!
