It is not at all hypocritical of me to say “fuck people who drive around with their light bars on all the time” and then say “I have flashed people here and there.” Those are not conflicting statements. Lol. I just meant angling the car a few degrees towards them for a half second. I love how people take everything I say to the extreme. “Veering” was probably the wrong word. I’m talking about a vehicle that is still way ahead of me. I’m not swerving out of my lane towards them. They likely can’t even tell I moved.

But since in all 3 instances of my doing that over the month that I’ve had this bar, that split second flash actually worked in getting them to turn off their high beams, and not one of them then proceeded to completely spear off the road in a bout of blind confusion, I’m going to go ahead and say it was

Thanks for a well-reasoned reply! And I agree. I actually don’t use it (or my high beams in general) all that often, because it’s usually not appropriate.

I totally agree and hate that cops seem to completely ignore those people, but will then ticket someone for going 5 over. Like the high beams are way worse violation!

Oh absolutely. This is doubly accurate for me since I’m in a lowered BRZ. I think people took my statement in my OP to mean I drive around flashing people left and right while laughing maniacally. In reality I’ve flashed maybe 3 or 4 people in the month that I’ve had it on the car. And I always make damned sure
