He has the WRX in there :)

No? You’ve lost me...

How the hell did you go through that much analysis without even mentioning the one DIRECT competitor to the Miata (minus the convertible-ness): The Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86.

I made this meme the other day. I’ll just leave it here.

He decided to take the entrance ramp at race speed, but forgot he was driving a poorly-modified car on shitty tires, and spun out.

Now playing

Honestly, the few “cars and coffee” events I’ve been to have largely turned me off to the entire thing. They’re just full of assholes, and idiots, many of whom are only “car guys” in the sense that they could afford a nice car; nothing more. The ones that DO show up in modified cars are usually ricers, or idiots who

Given that you have to have turned OFF traction control, fully turned the wheel, and then floored the gas, this doesn’t sound like an attempt at doing anything useful, in the same way that the Mustang comes with an equally “useless” “Line Lock.” It just sounds like a fun feature for enthusiasts from a manufacturer

The point is that there isn't much financial incentive for a CEO to NOT fly a company into the ground.

How do you know if it’s the director’s cut? I’ve seen this movie, but it’s been so long that I don’t remember what version I watched. I found it on HBO Now, and it’s a “Special Edition” with a 2h21m runtime. Does that sound right?

Subaru Loyalists: “Subaru doesn’t give any FUCKS about us enthusiasts anymore.”

Subaru: “Hold my sake...”

I spent less than $400 on my GPU a few months ago... and I’m playing games at a relatively unnecessary 3880 x 1600 resolution just fine...

The BRZ always was, and always will be, a niche car for a specific type of enthusiast. A WRX isn't even on the same plane of performance when you compare it to what the BRZ was designed to do.

Had the original Note, Note 3, S7+, and S9 Plus...

...and having just switched to a OnePlus 7 Pro, I really don’t see myself going back any time soon. Sure Samsung’s software has some extra fancy features, but overall it’s kind of a bloated shitshow by comparison to Oxygen OS... which is unbelievably fast. At the end

My 1998 Outback had it!

I never thought about this until just now, but given that modern vehicles often use a single HID unit that uses a moveable cutoff to switch between high and low beams, doesn’t that mean they’d meet that regulation even if they left the fogs on?

Why does Gear VR make the list of worst gadgets just because it has been superceeded by better technology? Gear VR was amazing when it first came out. I used it, and while it definitely felt "first gen" in terms of weight, and the screen door effect, it worked REALLY WELL and completely sold me on VR being the future.

I hate you, I hate you, I hate you...

Someone's gonna get fired for mounting the tail lights upside-down on these demonstration models...

Haha. True. Mine is a Series.Blue, so I just get shit for “overpaying" for a special edition, even though I paid several grand under MSRP.

If I’d made that comment, rather than be COTD, I’d just have been flamed by hundreds of “car enthusiasts” claiming I was only saying that to justify my shitty, slow, underpowered, overpriced, worthless, stupidest-car-ever-made, only-idiots-would-buy-that, there-are-so-many-better-options-for-the-price BRZ.
