Sure, it would be irresponsible not to be critical of a new technology... but you also have to be careful in this age of “trending news” and easily-shared information.

This kind of coverage, however “responsible” it might be, tends to bias the less-informed folks. And the less-informed folks are the majority of folks,

Filed Under: What the hell ELSE did he think was going to happen?!

This is such a short-sighted comment that it’s actually quite infuriating. Lots of things “worked” until we improved upon them. Keyless entry systems are SO much more convenient. You want to eliminate that convenience because a handful of arguably stupid people didn’t bother to read the instructions?

Also a broken-off HVAC control knob set to full heat... in the dead of summer.

I know this is beating a dead horse, but the stance fad needs to end. Along with the #RespectAllBuilds retort you get when you tell them how dumb their 15 degrees of camber, crazy stretched wheels, 1mm of ground clearance, etc... is.

So how does this work? Do you guys set up my week-long test drive of some random, fancy car through your manufacturer connections, or, like, do I call them myself, and enter some special code, or will they call me, or...?

FINALLY! My own, personal $kaygirl! Yaaaaaayyy!

This is interesting. It’s worth noting (as I’m sure nobody will bother reading the article before flaming Subaru) that this apparently wasn’t so much to “cheat” emissions testing by pretending to comply with the limits, as it was an attempt to minimize the standard deviation of the test results. Some cars’ numbers

I’m getting a lot more than a hint of Lamborghini, lol.

Looks like it was gently lowered, which is definitely better than slamming it to the ground. Though I suspect that’s going to happen soon.

Definitely one of the dumbest suspension mods I’ve ever seen.

“You’re an asshole because you knowingly return cars that you have borrowed in a condition other than the condition in which you borrowed them, you passive aggressively refuse to give the owner a heads up about the change, and then you blame them for whatever results from your behavior.”

“We have separation, and ignition of the second stage.”

Information-free steering? Lol.

You’ll have some buyers, but you’ll miss the mark.

I’m an asshole because I set the parking brake the way I’m supposed to? Wow.

It won’t prove anything with regards to your completely stupid “exotics” vs “mass production” driver aids argument. But it will show you that driver aids are more than capable of compensating for summer tires in winter temperatures when it comes to maintaining traction under acceleration.

Do you want me to take my BRZ out on my 2 season old Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the dry pavement on one of these 35-degree mornings, and just do a full drop clutch launch with the traction control on, and take a video of the car just doing... nothing exciting? Would that satisfy you? I’m not rich, so I don’t have

You won’t find videos like that because... why would someone post a video of a car slowly accelerating, with no drama? Good luck searching “Ferrari launch traction control on” on YouTube and not winding up with just a bunch of “Ferrari Launch no Traction Control” videos.

Also, I’m not sure what your anecdote about the

What kind of proof are you looking for? Everyone here has already told you that you are wrong, which is proof in and of itself of sorts.

I’ve been driving in snow since forever. Hell, my DAILY DRIVER year-round here in Chicago is a rear-wheel-drive Subaru BRZ. I take that thing ice racing every winter on frozen lakes.
