Definitely one of the dumbest suspension mods I’ve ever seen.

“You’re an asshole because you knowingly return cars that you have borrowed in a condition other than the condition in which you borrowed them, you passive aggressively refuse to give the owner a heads up about the change, and then you blame them for whatever results from your behavior.”

“We have separation, and ignition of the second stage.”

Information-free steering? Lol.

You’ll have some buyers, but you’ll miss the mark.

I’m an asshole because I set the parking brake the way I’m supposed to? Wow.

It won’t prove anything with regards to your completely stupid “exotics” vs “mass production” driver aids argument. But it will show you that driver aids are more than capable of compensating for summer tires in winter temperatures when it comes to maintaining traction under acceleration.

Do you want me to take my BRZ out on my 2 season old Michelin Pilot Super Sports on the dry pavement on one of these 35-degree mornings, and just do a full drop clutch launch with the traction control on, and take a video of the car just doing... nothing exciting? Would that satisfy you? I’m not rich, so I don’t have

You won’t find videos like that because... why would someone post a video of a car slowly accelerating, with no drama? Good luck searching “Ferrari launch traction control on” on YouTube and not winding up with just a bunch of “Ferrari Launch no Traction Control” videos.

Also, I’m not sure what your anecdote about the

What kind of proof are you looking for? Everyone here has already told you that you are wrong, which is proof in and of itself of sorts.

I’ve been driving in snow since forever. Hell, my DAILY DRIVER year-round here in Chicago is a rear-wheel-drive Subaru BRZ. I take that thing ice racing every winter on frozen lakes.

I give up. You are clearly just either an idiot, or a troll.

And I live in the real world of I’ve actually driven RWD sports cars in the snow and I know that everything you are saying is wrong. None of what you’ve said makes sense, continues to not makes sense, and probably won’t make sense any time soon.

I was taught to drive in the 2000s. I was taught to drive properly. I don’t do it intentionally just to spite them. I do it because it is what you are supposed to do, and it is habit. Not setting the parking brake would be improper operation of the vehicle. No different than putting the shifter into gear in a manual

Holy shit you are dense. YES, I want to talk about this video. The ORIGINAL comment to which you replied asked, “I get this for crappy muscle cars. But dont these supercars have traction control so good it cant possibly do this?”

Your reply was basically to tell him that supercar systems aren’t advanced enough to

I’m jealous. I hate you.

The system could have also interrupted the throttle the moment the tires slipped, but it didn’t because it had been disabled. The system is more than capable of preventing this from happening; it didn’t because it was turned off.

What if someone accidentally bumps your car from behind (or actually crashes into it.) If the parking brake isn’t engaged, the impact could snap the parking prawl, resulting in your car rolling away, possibly into another vehicle, object, person, etc... and causing even more damage/injury.

What if something fails in

We are still discussing this video, no? This video wasn’t about someone plowing into a turn at 100 MPH. This video was someone accelerating from a stop, spinning the rear wheels, and losing control. That is IMPOSSIBLE to do with the traction control enabled, even on ice, on the worst tires you can buy.

Why would I need to tell them I set the parking brake? I also don’t tell them that I locked the car. Or that I put it in Park. Or that I turned the lights off.

Setting the parking brake is PROPER operation of the vehicle. I don’t even do it intentionally. It’s just habit from years of driving a car the way you are

Sorry, but you are just flat out wrong in everything you are saying here. Everyone is trying to tell you this, but you aren’t listening.
