School buses do. But even the larger transit buses can carry some speed ;)

Fun fact: Large buses and such actually have a lot more grip than you would think around curves.

Source: Absolutely not me, nor my former hypothetical shenanigans as a bus driver.

It’s just his niece; not someone he actually loves.

I use them all the time. First off, I ALWAYS drive with parking lights on at ALL times, period. More visibility is always better. I like having the rear lights on, which is particularly useful on overcast days, or when going through dark, shaded areas - sometimes brief enough to not trigger the automatic headlamps.

I

I’m unsure about your ability to understand the humor in the title.

I think you are misinterpreting what the vehicle is doing. Most people see that stability control light flashing and immediately thing, “Fuck this, I thought I turned that off!” It IS off. What that light is signifying is that the e-diff is still functioning. That is a system which prevents excess wheelspin in order

Actually no. I deliberately omitted the pedal dance because it’s a fucking stupid trend that needs to STOP being a thing. The 3 second hold turns the traction and stability control OFF. For 99% of people this will be enough. Only a hardcore track or drift master could make a case for doing the pedal dance.

Yup. I’m glad I couldn’t get one until the 2015s were out. They solved most of the teething issues at that point.

I won’t disagree with that. And if I see an S2000, I’ll definitely come over and take a look. That just doesn’t mean I truly wish I’d bought that car instead of my BRZ.

I guess the distinction I’m making, is that there is a difference between oogling a car because one day you want to own own, and oogling a car because

Subaru is a much, MUCH smaller company than the Fiat/Chrysler giant.

If BRZ owners are jealous of your S2000, then they bought the wrong car. I don’t see them as catering to a similar demographic at all. What you said is exactly correct. I bought the BRZ because it is my only car. It has to do autocross. It has to be comfortable for daily driving. It has to be reliable. It needs to

Yeah, it doesn’t take crazy speeds to make an impact. Sure this car isn’t hitting 180 on the track, but this wing would definitely make a noticeable difference on those 90 MPH high-speed sweepers, for example.

Yeah, no. If I wanted an S2000, I’d have bought an S2000. It’s a great car, but there are a LOT of downsides to a 10+ year old vehicle, as compared to a brand new one. There are reasons to pick an S2000 over a BRZ (track day vehicle, for example), but there are a lot of reasons to pick a BRZ over an S2000.

So... because there is ONE car that beats it in autocross, the BRZ is an embarrassment? Wut.

I’m going on my 4th year of ownership, and haven’t had any paint peeing issues, or steering wheel peeling issues, or heated seat issues. Maybe you got a lemon?

The head unit is god-awful, tho, lol.

You act like the BRZ can’t get up to even 60 MPH on a track...

The left button is for traction control.
The right button is for stability control.

You can press the left one to disable traction control up to 30 MPH (think getting moving in the snow, or launching with wheelspin from a stop.)

You can press the right one to engage track mode which allows more yaw.

You can hold the right

Lol. Your inability to understand what I’m saying, and instead blowing everything way out of proportion makes this a pointless conversation anyway. Good day, sir!

Your examples are ridiculous. I was saying my friend was lazy because she couldn’t be bothered to follow a 4 step process to pair her cellphone, as outlined in her Owner’s Manual.

At no point did I say I was expecting her to do hours of research on the intricacies of how Bluetooth came to exist, and the details behind

You aren’t lazy. You just wear a tin foil hat. There are exceptions, such as yourself.

The majority of people are lazy. My friend wasn’t using Bluetooth because she was worried about hacking. She wasn’t using Bluetooth because she couldn’t be bothered to figure out how to pair her device to the car. I paired it for
