You don’t need anything else :)

I once had a string of days where I was super late for work in the morning, and then wound up finishing work so late that I was too tired/lazy to get gas. After, like, 4 days of this (mostly due to a shit-ton of overtime), my gas needle was way past the empty line. I knew I really needed to find a gas station, but I

Ehhhh. There’s a big difference between a failure mode that simply results in loss of power, and a failure mode that causes bits of engine to separate in all directions. It’s hard to tell how much damage was done to other parts of the aircraft in this case (clearly not much) but all it takes is a tiny piece of

Now playing

Here’s my mom’s first autocross. She refuses to do any more ride-alongs, lol.

Haha, nope. Home-made simulator rig. Thoguh since that photo was taken I’ve learned how god-awful MDF is, and I’ve upgraded to proper plywood, lol. I probably only have a few months left to live after inhaling that MDF dust. It doesn’t so much get cut, as it gets vaporized.

WRB is the best color!

If you’re only ever going to pull loads of 1000 pounds, you don’t need a truck at all. I regularly tow 700 lb with my BRZ, lol...

Correct, but an F-150 can tow 0ver 10,000 lb these days. The number of people who actually tow trailers weighing even half that are relatively small. As I said, for people for whom it’s useful, these trucks make a lot of sense. You don’t need an F-450 to tow your family’s small fishing boat, though.

I think trucks are incredibly useful when utilized for their purpose. I think they are a waste for the people who buy them as grocery-getters. That’s all.

Not arguing that fact. After all, in my OP I was defending the fact that there are people for whom these trucks make plenty of sense. I was just responding to his reply which was awfully defensive. Most people who I know personally with large trucks will never pull a trailer that weighs more than a few thousand

Most people I know with F-2/350s have never pulled a load that couldn’t be pulled with an F-150 if they pulled one at all. And whereas a sports car can still provide enjoyment in daily driving in the form of nimble handling and fun acceleration, an F-350 offers no benefits in daily driving other than being a giant

Look, I know most people who buy these don’t have a use for them, but I also think it’s unfair to make fun of its existence just because some people suck at buying the right car.

There ARE people who need a giant truck like this (offhand, I’m thinking people with giant car trailers who travel to events, people with

She literally made the WORST decision possible given the situation, lol. I know some people aren’t good in emergency situations, but c’mon, lady!

EDIT: Your trolly-ness is showing based on your other replies ;)

Between these comments, and yesterday’s comments on that 1 KPH over-the-limit article, I’m convinced you’re just a troll. Nobody is this stupid, lol.

Well, okay, some people are, but I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt.

I love how you absolutely REFUSE to understand what people are saying, and just keep repeating yourself over and over. You can’t just IGNORE margin of error. Margin of error is EVERYTHING when we are talking about 1 KPH.

US law requires your speedometer to be accurate to within 5 MPH at 50 MPH. Go ahead and justify

None of what you are saying applies to my comment, when I clearly stated that 1 KPH can’t be enforced in any meaningful way, given as it is well within the margin of error of the equipment.

Not to mention that there are states where you are absolutely permitted to slightly exceed the speed limit for a brief period of

The point here is that if the cop was going, say, 10 kph under the limit, he had every right to pass the cop. It sounds an awful lot like the cop was probably an asshole who was specifically toying with people behind them, tempting them to pass him.

Because who the fuck gives a ticket for 1 KPH over the limit? 1 KPH is

Good tires are much less likely to hydroplane to begin with, however.

‘Nuff said.
