I love how you have no logical argument, so you just keep saying “butt-hurt” over and over since it’s the only point you actually have to make. There’s a reason some of my responses have multiple stars, while yours don’t :P

I dunno who was in the wrong here (dunno what the etiquette is out there), but that rider is damned lucky that the Jeep driver slammed on the brakes when he did. In the slow-motion portion, you can see the Jeep “skid” to a stop in the sand. If that Jeep had braked a moment later, that guy would have slammed into the…
Whatever you say, boss. I’ll continue obliterating every V6 Camry I’ve come across at my autocross events :)
I suggest you look up the definition of “sports car” when you get a chance, by the way. You might be surprised to find out you don’t know what it is.
Put a MASSIVE engine and wide enough tires on anything and it can keep up with most anything else.
That said, I prefer the feeling of a car on track that feels like it’s taking advantage of the laws of physics (via reduced mass, etc...) rather than obliterating them (via 12-foot-wide tires and 6-million horsepower.)
Lol. I’m not butthurt. Can’t be mad at someone who doesn’t understand what they’re talking about ;)
It would be like being mad at a mentally challenged kid. He doesn’t know any better.
It isn’t against the law in NY, where this took place, though. Not unless there was a sign on the roadway explicitly stating so.
I agree on that one. I honestly think he could have avoided it if he was paying more attention. Hell, it happened to me literally two nights ago with an idiot who was going back and forth between 70 and 60 in the passing lane and not moving over, and then accelerated to over 80 when I finally went to pass and nearly…
To be completely fair, I never said he said it was against the law. It isn’t stupid either. It’s necessary in a country where nobody knows how to keep right. There’s a reason it isn’t illegal. You must live in the middle of nowhere if you manage to drive on the highway without ever having to pass on the right.
I’m not butthurt. I’m just pointing out that you’re a moron since you clearly don’t understand what is happening in the video. Sorry if that offends you.
You’re clearly mentally challenged. The BRZ was hit at the 0:25 second mark. He doesn’t even begin accelerating after the Camry until the 0:36 second mark, and the clip ends at the 0:40 second mark. The only car that could close that gap in four seconds WOULD be a Koenigsegg. It’s also apparent from the audio that he…
It’s easy to “walk away” from a car that isn’t accelerating (because they assume you’re going to also pull over like a rational person...) It could have been a Koenigsegg and he still would have “dusted” him since the driver of the camera car was pulling over until just before the end of the clip when he realized the…
This occurred in NY state, where it is perfectly legal :)
Lol, that sucks. I looked up the law in NY State when this was posted in our FR-S/BRZ group yesterday just to check, and it is indeed perfectly legal to pass on the right.
It’s all good. There’s just a lot of misinformation being spread in these comments, which annoys me!
Did you even read what you just posted? Note the second bullet point:
Here’s my blog post about the setup I have:
Your statement implied that the driver of the BRZ did something against the law. You said, “there were clearly two lanes at the time of passing,” as if that meant he was doing something he wasn’t supposed to do.
Sorry, I’m just tired of seeing all of the uneducated comments in here from people who are quick to bash the…
It isn’t illegal in NY, which is where this accident occurred. It is explicitly stated in their laws that it is legal on multi-lane roadways so long as there is no signage dictating otherwise.
Cool story, but you’re making assumptions. The laws in NY state are different than your assumptions...
Apparently it was his second DUI.
