I never said I expected it to be worth anything. If this was going to be an investment, I wouldn’t be autocrossing it, and wintercrossing it, and trimming the side skirts and driving it year-round in Chicago, lol. I plan to keep the car forever.

I actually didn’t do them for looks. I did them solely for paint protection. Stock wheels are 17x7s with 215s. My current wheels are 18x9s with 255s, and I have -2.5 degrees of camber. So they come out quite a bit further, and the tires are much stickier (Michelin PSS). I needed the rock guards to protect the paint…

Welcome to my car! The only irreversible mod so far is trimming the leading edges of the side skirts and rear spats so that the rock guards would fit properly. I look forward to (hopefully) having a relatively clean BRZ in 10 years, lol.
