It is a company and they are there to make money, without this drive there would be no google or at the very least not the technology center that it is today. To make this money they collect data and sell advertising space. This is often seen as a fair trade for the product and services google supplies free of charge.

I use duck tape to to tape an x or other shape of my choosing on my suitcase. It is easily recognized by myself from afar and makes seeing my suitcase apart from all other (even same brand and model) suitcases in baggage claim very easy. Duck tape is durable, it sticks great and i have yet to have it fall off.
