I was actually shocked when I found out other states don't have to take state history the way we do. Up until 10th grade, we took Texas History and United States History, or Texas History and World History. But always two history classes and one of them was always Texas.
It's pretty true. We do it all the time to people.
Just remember when you hear that shit that 99.9% of us who live here do not feel that way. Crazies get the air time.
I dunno. The push for removal here is growing fast. With KW Park, the new bridges, the Art's District, the revitalization of Dallas is well underway and this would be a big step in that direction. I could see it happening.
This is one of the many reasons I could never be an anchor because there is no way I would have ever just let that go and not called it out on the air.
I'm a die hard fan of Goodfellas. As in, I've probably set some sort of record for how many times one person has watched a movie. Casino pissed me off.....good movie, but DeNiro's character was too much of a pussy for me.
Raging Bull and Taxi Driver too!
I'd say out of that list.....Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, and Blazing Saddles are the ones to focus on.

Same here. I've also never seen Footloose or Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I was too young to see them when they came out and by the time I was old enough, I just didn't give a shit.
Yeah I never hear it called that anymore. Which is good but confusing!
It was at one point (before 1993) called The Ukraine. Nowadays, they find it offensive to refer to them as that because they are no longer a region of the USSR, but their own country. But it was for sure referred to as that at one point in history.
I did a little digging and found out that's exactly what it is. Back in the USSR era, it was referred to as THE Ukraine. It's now considered somewhat offensive to refer to it as that. But at least I know it wasn't in my imagination!
Help me out with something. I swear it was always called THE Ukraine but lately I only hear it referred to as Ukraine. Did I make that up?
That mofo is totally traveling though.....
This is the last I'll post.
A steel building will collapse in a fire if it has serious structural damage. Which, this building had.
The evidence of a raging fire you asked for.
Did you actually watch the video? It's only about 30 seconds long.
