I don’t see why people hate seeing evolutionary biology being used to explain patterns or occurrences in the real world. It seems myopic to completely shun those potential influences.

Every part of that post was incredibly cool.

TThere was no way the studio would have allowed comic faithful costumes back then. It was a different industry. Especially at Fox.

It would be just like Deadpool to handwave it away in the next movie. “Oh she’s alive again remember?”

Apox on your internet house!

The faithful portrayal of Juggernaut (and other mutants) was one of my favorite parts of the film.

Fun facts: the Germans developed a magnetically detonated mine that did catastrophic damage to ships; it lay on the harbor bottom and fired when a ship passed over, literally breaking the ship in half. American physicist John D. Kraus (1910-2004) suggested a countermeasure; he could measure the magnetic signature of

The bizarre part of this announcement is that the Godzilla movies in the Show and Heisei periods already behaved as a cinematic universe. Mothra and Rodan both headlined their own stand-alone movies before they became recurring guest-stars in the Godzilla series. And the second series maintained a relatively strict

That was something I was wondering, is there going to be a Japanese Godzilla-verse and a US one where the King Kong v Godzilla movie is happening takes place? This makes me concerned in the same way I was concerned about the Universal Monster-verse.

As much as I love Godzilla, I just can’t see the need for two Godzilla shared universes.

“...mention of self-harm.”

If this is a “the best jokes are in the trailer” situation. That’s really sad.

Eh idk... I was excited when I first heard about this idea years ago, seemed like fun to juxtapose light and silly muppets with a dark and violent crime drama.

I actually cant stand the show. It’s weird though, I started watching the show first, got about 3 episodes in and then started reading the books, now I hate the show, and have never gone back. I hate shows that create unnecessary drama. In one of the early episodes they changed one little thing from the book and it

For the most part I’ve liked her in small doses like in Bridesmaids, but I do think Spy was an excellent send up of spy movies along with using her physicality and caustic wit while skipping over more simple fat schlub humor. That and her interactions with Statham are gold!

Love the concept. I can already tell I’ll hate the execution. “OMG, this puppet is ejaculating a lot everywhere!!!” is not my idea of comedy.

I like to think that if he were still alive, Jim would not publicly disapprove, but also give no interviews.

Dreadful. The mid range shots with the CG puppets immediately tell you that it’s not a puppet movie, it’s a movie with puppets.

This trailer pissed me off and I think the reason why is because when this movie was first talked about years ago it sounded like a legit attempt at a noir story with puppets. Now it looks like executive and producers got in the way and turned it into a one long dick joke.

I kinda get a “Sausage Party” vibe from this. That’s not a good thing for me. It definitely feels like it’s trying way too hard in the trailer to be “adult.”
