I have always assumed that pixies are on treadmills and they drink the lithium like it was gatorade, in order to power my device. As the pixies age (it is common knowledge that they live 2-3 years) they slowly die off, one by one, decreasing the time you are able to use your device.

Very true- but after watching the movie "Her" one would imagine that pursuing a desktop voice assistant would be on their radar BEFORE using it as a TV option, but then again, I'm sure they have done a LOT of market research showing which they should pursue first.

What i want to know is when is siri just coming to Mac? Because I have a Mac mini hooked up to my TV and it kind of feels like that should get siri if we are putting it on a $70 Apple TV...

Every damn day I use siri. Sometimes when I'm just being lazy I will dictate texts with it, I will get in my car in an area I'm unfamiliar with and say "direct me home", or if I've been drinking I use it to set my alarm. I also will rollover and ask it the weather in the morning. Crazy useful.

Yeah, but at the end of the day, our country's military INVENTED the internet and a lot of it runs through our servers.. I know that it is WAAAAYYY more complicated than that and there are ways of getting around it, but I think the US is at an advantage from a digital infrastructure point of view.

As a man working in finance- pretending to enjoy cigars with business acquaintances is a regular annoyance in my life, but I know a lot of people who somehow like them and think that they are worth the money.

I think it is mostly real- I think that the biggest help Google is providing (aside from fuck loads of money) is the advice "Seriously- don't overhype or show off prototypes to the general population. Just ask our Google Glass team members..."

To me, it is a baby step in the right direction. They are working out the kinks and I think we will see battery technologies HEAVILY advance in the next couple of years; we have slimmed down phones as much as we can and with the advent of electric cars and wearables, tech companies have no choice but to pour all their

No joke- my girlfriend is a recruiter and she gets candidates all the time that apply for jobs with email addresses along the lines of sexypapa69@gmail.com

^Agreed haha different strokes for different folks. Sounds like you have the ideal arrangement!

My girlfriend and I live together and are on the same page on this one. The area we live is a mix of multi family homes, rich people in mansions, and apartments- it is not a "sad bar area" downtown. I see families with strollers every time I go on a run. I have a car and there is ample parking.

This kind of shit is fascinating to look at. Someone from a very different time and place used to wake up every morning and put on that ring because it meant something to them, and at their funeral, someone who knew them well buried it with them. None of those people exist anymore and it is crazy cool when we find

If that is a privately owned mall- then the owner for SURE gave a handjob to someone on the urban planning board. "Yes, I would like my commercial property to be literally the center of the city and have all roads connect around it."

Totally agree- I live 10 minutes from our downtown, and my area is mostly new college grads and full of active runners on the sidewalks, you can walk to bars and restaurants, and it is a $10 Uber to downtown. My mom will NOT stop trying to get my girlfriend and I to move 40 minutes into the suburbs by them. I would

"Yeah, as the crow flies, I live 1,000 feet down the road from you, Carl- but unfortunately our city planner was on acid when he designed this damn place, so its about a 10 minute drive."

Yeah- this totally didn't factor in the fact that cable companies charge $50-$60 for wifi + internet that is fast enough to stream all this. It ends up costing way more than cable

I do agree with you to an extent. The return on investment on this though is the president NOT getting stabbed haha. I think that being the world police and carrying on multiple wars at once are MUCH more detrimental to our deficit than things like this

I mean... You are correct on the leadership front, but I think training will maintain discipline in the ranks. As for the person rushing that door with a knife, if the agents knew the weak points in the building and visibility of access points like the back of their hand from continuously drilling it into them

I will agree with you 100% on the need for infrastructure (John Oliver just did a great segment on it) and that the military industrial complex absorbs SOOOOO much more money than we should be pouring into it (we need to be spending on DEFENSE, not OFFENSE and calling it "defense"). Still, $8MM is a drop in the bucket

Until cable companies no longer control access to the internet, cord cutting is not financially beneficial. My two options are Bell or TWC and both are dead locked at Wifi/internet + Cable is $65/month but JUST Wifi/internet is still $57/month because they don't want you cutting the cord (Both advertise internet
