Yeah, I only know about Pokemon through osmosis and have neither played any of the games nor watched more than random clips of the show(s), but I enjoyed it. It didn’t completely make sense, but that’s ok. It was cute and silly, and had a good cast. I hope so see more of Justice Smith

I cackled very loudly for at least a minute straight

I’m hoping that they realize that key ingredient in Valarian steel is dragon breath, and they dismantle the Iron Throne.

Having just finished a complete rewatch I heartily second this. Sure there are some inconsistentcies, but this kind of show shouldn’t have everything explained. The Island is mysterious.  I also liked the finale a lot more this time through.  I love that Hugo is left in charge with Ben as his sidekick (it helps that

I never tuck in the top sheet but I do straighten everything out every morning because 1.) It’s more comfortable sleeping with everything straight at least to start with and 2.) I have parakeets that are free to fly around my room during the day and I don’t want them pooping on my pillow.

Yeah, that's the plot of the Dresden Files short story "Day One." The antagonist was one of those things given form by children's imagination, except since "you are what you eat," it goes crazy and starts killing people.

Something I’ve been wondering: do you have any particular holiday to celebrate midwinter in the Southern Hemisphere?

I’m kinda surprised that Rhaegar Targaryen’s wig wasn’t mentioned, given how many people complained about it.

Women in Senegal sometimes actually do use that loophole

Came here for this.  I mean, obviously he gets eaten by a giant spider.

Maybe frenemies?

I’ve heard it called the “Hollywood Bobble-head Syndrome.”  James Marsters (Spike) has it bad.

I know one of the people interviewed for this article, and he seriously regrets staying anonymous, partly for this reason.

The head and boots are also left because it's very difficult to shave them. Shaving a cat is like running clippers over a water balloon: their skin is incredibly thin and streachy

I love this book! I learned to cook with it and Enchanted Broccoli Forest, which is for slightly older children

I think Plies’ point was that they were enslaving people while pretending to “empower” them.

There’s a restaurant in Portland, Le Bistro Montage, that’s known for wrapping up leftovers in aluminum foil sculptures. I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten a swan, though. Usually it’s things like squirrels or scorpions.

I made these this afternoon and even my mom’s husband—who used to be a gourmet pastry chef—thought they were delicious.

I liked the whole sequence where Rey is listing all the light/dark things on the island, and the fact that she goes down into the Pit of Doom and finds something positive there. I really, really want there to be some realization that to bring balance to the force you have to accept both the light side and the dark.

It’s mentioned that Aurors and Healers go through more education, but yeah.
