Kwan is the reason I quit the first season, so knowing that they kept her and killed ______ (thanks for that, btw) I will happily skip season two.

Honestly, fuck this headline. What condescending bullshit.

This is a bummer but what would be cool is if Kotaku could be done with Jim Spanfeller, a man who is both an herb and hilariously bad at his job.

I smell serious copium from this article. I don’t care if people like this tv series but it sure as hell ain’t Halo. Master Cheeks is not my Chief.

reminder that this website sucks:

This doesn’t look like a how-to guide for BG3, does Spanfeller know about this?

Probably already enough content for several weeks worth of guides, if divided properly.

Instead of just rebooting Ghostbusters, but with actresses, the cast would have been better served giving them their own story, instead of a pseudo-reboot of the original.

This is the last of the petty cash.

Now playing

They’ve taken over the old fire station that used to house those old Ghostbusters.

Goes back to the core tenet of filmmaking. I don’t care one way or the other about “Ghostbusters - but with women!” I care if it’s a fun, well-made movie with solid characterization.  It wasn’t, so it flopped.

well it was nice to read a positive, relatively enthusiastic review here at least.

Once people are discussing movies on the internet, there’s about a 50% chance that they’re racist trolls. It’s a catch 22, since in real life people are less likely to have a vociferously hateful opinion of movies, but they’re also less likely to have any opinion or interest. I’m 99% sure that most of the people I see

Agreed. I wanted so badly to like that movie, because I like everyone involved and hated the misogynistic bullshit it was dealing with, but within like, 20 minutes I knew it was just... not good. It had a few moments here and there but that’s about the best I can say for it.

to be clear, Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters was terrible. It had nothing to do with the casting (all very funny actresses) and everything to do with the slipshod CGI, even more slipshod humor, and general lack of fun.

Many of us appreciate those films. There are dozens of us. Dozens!

See I don’t think we’re missing much without Baldwin and Davis.  Because you’d have to factor in how they’ve aged, which seems incongrous with ghosts, unless you give them a ghoulish look, which I’m not sure would work either.

Looks like a safe “greatest hits” version of the two Alien movies everybody likes. I just wish more people appreciated Prometheus/Covenant for at least attempting something different.

Always funny to see someone praise “centrism.” It’s like hearing someone cheer about glasses of warm milk.
