Yeah, I’m pretty small and don’t get a chance to eat frequently, so I tend to opt for higher-calorie meals (95-lb. My dude, I live in fucking Massachusetts and I’ve seen the occasional pickup truck or SUV packed with people illegally “carpooling” to a work site.   It’s not a stretch to think of “other reasons” besides people smuggling unless that’s what you wanted it to be before you even started to think about it.

Stuffing 25 people into the cabin of an SUV is a very ineffective way of smuggling people across the border. Especially when boats, planes and semi trucks exist. Not to mention they were already in SoCal sooo, yeah.
