I find “really fucking good” to be about as far away from that show as you can possibly get.

The first one was actually pretty good. Not amazing, but better than it had any right to be, and certainly not “steaming factory garbage”.
Sounds like they need someone who can do what the Wachowskis did for Speed Racer: really lean into the aesthetic of the show.
The Wachowski brothers’ adaption of Speed Racer faceplanted hard at release, but people seem to have come around since then on it as being pretty good.
