I loved the hell out of Bizarre when I growing up. That was the reason to keep Showtime, hands down! Funny as hell plus the added bonus of BOOBIES!

I find “really fucking good” to be about as far away from that show as you can possibly get.

The first one was actually pretty good. Not amazing, but better than it had any right to be, and certainly not “steaming factory garbage”.

Sounds like they need someone who can do what the Wachowskis did for Speed Racer: really lean into the aesthetic of the show.

The Wachowski brothers’ adaption of Speed Racer faceplanted hard at release, but people seem to have come around since then on it as being pretty good.

Live action, American remakes of anime does not work. Nor will they ever work.

So you are saying he should assume complete responsivity if, oh say, the catering truck served rancid food, resulting in extreme food poisonings for the crew even tho the extent of his interactions with the food truck is getting a sandwich?
