Grave of the Fireflies is a stunning, beautiful, amazing lovely film that everyone should watch. I will never watch Grave of the Fireflies ever again.

Oooh, look at Mister La-Dee-Dah, with his 13 channels. I was in a major market and I still only got 10.

I was all like “finally? What, you mean like as in the very first episode of the series, 60 years ago?”

Not yet, at least I don’t think. I know there’s been some preview footage and some shots from the sets, but nothing substantial.

Any new Mandolorian?

Not everything has to be a deal, but there is no way in hell that I’m paying 2.5x a ticket price for a movie. Especially a movie were I was only “Eh, that looks kind of cool. I might catch an early show” in the first place.

AND they turned Wakiwood into an actual, real-life production studio! with like production facilities and scolarships for students and stuff! It’s a real rag-to-riches(ish) story!

Plus AGFA put out Captain Alex and Bad Black on Blu-ray:

Oh, I love Sweded movies!

Wait, you did not just put Carnosaur AND Tammy & the T-Rex on aworst of” list? You sit in the corner and you think on what you’ve done!

Jesus, that Star Trek cartoon looks awful. Unfunny in the extreme.

The only Apollo I need to worry about:

Be sure to keep an eye out for SpoooonTV, coming to your browser sometime early 2021!

Will it be like early Hulu where you start staging re-enactments of the ads because you’ve seen them so many times and it’s the only way to cope?

Wow, that looked fucking awful. I had to tap out after 30 seconds in. No thanks, I’ll be giving this a miss.

Japan Sinks? I perfer it the other way round:

They have scrabble tournaments?

Charlie Daniels and Ennio Morricone back to back? Quick! Someone form a protective barrier around John Williams!

I give it my big thumbs up. It starts very strong, has about 15 minutes of exposition and then it’s off to the races for the next 45. Well worth checking out!

Oh, without a doubt. The scores he did for gialli are brilliant. The Bird With The Crystal Plumage? Lizard In A Woman’s Skin? Spasmo? Love ‘em all!
