Can someone tell me why they drove an RX7 off a jump, through a forest, and into a river? Those marketing guys must've been buried up to their nostrils in coke!!!

I texted Jason the address as soon as you guys posted it so he would get the info ASAP. He responded saying "calling cops now." Looks like he'll get that yellow beauty back soon!
It's great to see someone like Glickenhaus be a team player. If you can't have some senseless fun every now and then, you're dead inside.
I hate that design. But i hate it less now that i did when i first saw it.
Crap! I'm starting to like that Cherokee..
The best possible way a party could end.
I really do want to at least drive one some day, even if it is only for two blocks before it explodes. That interior is to die for though, you're absolutely right.
Why, god, why would you add any unnecessary weight to a purpose built race car? Even two or less pounds for a "squeak box" is too much. Lets add chrome wheels and neon lights under the cars because they don't look cool enough when they are tearing by you at 90mph around a 90 degree corner with centimeters to spare…
i just dont get it. is it BECAUSE it's a bad idea that everyone thinks it should be done? I hate BMW et al for this and i dont want to see it become commonplace. mechanical enhancements are ok in general because the sound is, by definition, being tuned through an exhaust anyway... but the moment it becomes…
They need to get that WOO WOO!
I find it hard to believe that any engine putting out those power levels in race trim is going to sound dull.
Once again, Patrick, you're letting the facts get in the way. The NHTSA will not be beholden to facts!
It's hard to say whether he simply overcooked the turn and had no way to recover but I'd say your first scenario is likely right ... adding power to help rotate the car likely would have gotten him out of his mess.
Alright, since I'm a driving amateur, can someone confirm or correct this?
Looked he was trying to go all steering and brakes instead of power. I didn't hear the engine race when it should have to kick the tail out. The guy behind him did it right though.
