Have you read Ennis’s run on Nick Fury? That took brutal to a whole new level. I don’t think Miller could even top it.

You joke, but I wonder if Ford is only doing these sequels with the agreement that his characters will die at the end so people will leave him alone in his retirement. Han Solo, then Deckard, and finally Indy?
As shows go, even if the ratings are starting to look a bit shabby it is still huge money-maker for the Beeb. They care a lot about this show and its potential to bring in the scratch through merchandise and so on. The fact that people actually want to watch it is probably a secondary concern for them (tongue in cheek…
My friend thought this scene was dumb, the idea of a human standing up to a god-like being with the power of life and death over all reality and I said, “dude, that is what Steve Rogers is all about in a nutshell”. They certainly captured that spirit in the movie but if they don’t include that scene in the upcoming…
Dunno that I buy this explanation 100% but the Star Wars universe always seemed very pro-human to me with non-humans never given the same kind of attention (with some obvious exceptions - Yoda for one). I never felt Chewie got treated fairly by anyone, even Han.
I really hope they keep Frank’s outfit closer to the MAX version than the superhero costume he wears in mainstream Marvel. His MAX outfit was totally bad ass. A lycra onesie ... less so.
So how would he handle it if HE decided it was time to move on? :-) As glad as I am to see the back of him that doesn’t sound very concrete.
“was asked to move on” - you got any sources for that?
I’ve not read any of her stuff but I will be interested to see how it works out. I gotta say; I never much cared for Frank when he was embedded in the Marvel costumed universe. The MAX series was amazing, and some of Ennis’s work where he mocks heroes such as DD, Spider-Man and poor lil’ Wolverine, were great but most…
Not from a movie but an honourable mention should go to :
Black Panther = Donald Trump?
If you think it will make you nerd rage then maybe opt out and watch it at a much later date. Having seen MoS I am somewhat filled with regret at having wasted money in the cinema to see what was, in my mind, a PoS.
It is funny that in a movie with an immortal Amazon princess, an alien who can defy gravity and wreck buildings with a single punch, and an alien death machine made in a lab (I assume), the one thing I am having a problem swallowing is that Bruce Wayne was able to make a suit that is able to counter Superman’s absurd…
I still can’t bring myself to watch Lucifer.
I think I just strained myself whilst rolling my eyes.
Been years since I read it, so context might be important here, but I’d be slightly less than truthful when admitting to a detective exactly how many people I’d killed.
Seconded. What a complete waste of time clicking into this article.
You should absolutely read the comics one day. They are great.
That’s a shame. They took the one unique thing and cocked it up by the sounds of it. :-(
Does this show have any substance to it or is it, as I am getting the impression, more of a vehicle for Tom Ellis to show off how amazingly handsome and charismatic he is, with some witty dialogue thrown in for good measure?
