I just want to point out that in the winter, especially in areas with shitty plow service, AWD is a godsend (in places that actually get a lot of snow.)
I can’t follow the logic. I really miss something here.

I think Lexus just needs to get rid of the “corporate grill”.
Sure, I support people who are conscientious objectors too. But to dodge the the draft, then attack others who actually did serve, while risking people who are currently serving? Uh, no. No sympathy there.
Is being a pedantic waste of time going well?
I wonder if it would be a smart move on Canada’s part to announce that they will grant asylum to any of these deportees who want it. Hell, they could even cut a deal with ICE to take them at the northern border instead of wherever they’d be sent otherwise, save the US some money.
I had the most interesting discussion with a pro-Trump guy about this today. He’s very much anti-DACA as “immigration reform”
Well, ‘Murica... this is a productive use of resources 🙄 Twice over: 1) for wanting to kick a US-trained doctor to the curb, and 2) for wasting resources on sending ICE on these witch hunts (something I’m actually comfortable with calling a witch hunt, in this day and age. Who knew?). You’ve got a family whose…
There should’ve been a system that makes sure that if anything is in the path of the mechanism, it should stop. I blame everyone but I assign the majority of it on the manufacturer because my $100 garage door opener has sensors to make sure I don’t crush my dog or bag of groceries.
You are being so sad right now.
$1000 is not insignificant to someone in the working class struggling to make ends meet.
It’s a one-time windfall, not anything sustainable. Sure, I’d be happy to take a $1000 bonus home to do with what I will, but I’d much, much rather have a percentage raise in salary across the board that will help me for a much longer time going forward. This is why it’s bullshit.
First off, it’s NOT $1000 after taxes. Why do you have such a hard time comprehending this simple fact. Also it was $500 in this article.
Right, the $1000 was from WalMart, who gave that $1,000 only to employees who had been there for 20 years, announced at the same time that they announced they’d be closing 63 Sam’s Club stores. And all of this happened as Doug McMillon pocketed 22 million.
Yes, Amazon is also shitty to its employees. What’s your point? That unregulated capitalism is bad because it leads to corporations being as shitty as possible to their employees? Yes. I agree. Glad we could come together on this.
Wal-Marts net worth is $230 billion. My net worth is....let’s just say well south of that. You can have the equivalent share of my net wealth that $1,000 is for wal-mart. I’ll even round up for you.
