Hydrogen fuel cell cars are worse than EV’s in every conceivable way.   And they still need a battery.

I don’t think Toyota got hate for “failure to jump straight into EV’s”. I think it was more because they actively refused EV’s and instead, pushed the even more ridiculous and wholly impractical hydrogen cars.
