Human beings can have different opinions. They can like different facets of different thinkers. We’d all be better off if we stopped trying to identify everyone as “all bad” or “all good.” It’s not going to end well. 

That’s just not true. We can disagree with him, but he does actually present arguments and they are not that poorly thought out. It’s intellectually lazy to avoid engaging in a debate simply because you think the other person’s points are invalid. Sharpens the mind to engage. 

I would be thrilled if Android made this a standard feature. For all the basic webapp stuff we use, Android phones can handle it. It would be a game changer. 

Let’s simplify the whole thing and just refer to everyone as “it” regardless of gender. 

The only two Wear OS cellular watches require Verizon subscriptions. This is a huge blocker. I’d be game for something like this if available on other networks. Anything else, please. T-Mobile, ATT, heck really anything else.

I’m OK with this as long as we’re also OK with Disney firing someone who says “All white people are racist.” Inflammatory, sure, purposefully. But the argument here is that companies should be able to fire anyone who they disagree with, so let’s make sure we’re good with that no matter what direction the comments take.…

I don’t think that “one of the most basic rights of a human” is to be called what you want to be called. Might be one of the most basic courtesies, but that’s not what a right is. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think that people -should- be called something different from what they like, but that’s not a right. 

What is the group isn’t a race? Then they’re just.... wrong? 

There was a time when Slack was just good...... and then it became really hard to deal with all the channels, and then it never stopped. And now it wants to stop even less. Maybe it’s time to just stop being plugged in so much.
