Definitely thought this article was going to be about another Wordle spinoff.
What the heck is up with all of the links in this article? I hovered over “guilty”, expecting to read something about the conclusion of her trial, but instead it’s something about Trump. Almost every link in this article is unrelated.
That’s actually exactly how I interpreted the meme; that it’s joking about the challenge of trying to identify a virus that can, in the early stages, resemble other less severe illnesses. Sometimes those three can look similar for patients.
Do we really need more Kyrie Irving articles? I realize I can skip them (and will in the future), but unless he’s updated his stance about vaccination, I don’t know why there is an article on his vaguely interesting performance.
“The homicide prosecutors that used Franklin Lee’s testimony to convict Willie Stokes then prosecuted Franklin Lee for lying on Willie Stokes. And they never told Willie Stokes,”
Did anyone else other than Nassar go to prison for this? It really seemed like more heads needed to roll if people ignoring and covering up reports of abuse aren’t going to prison as well.
I think it says something that the top two comments on this post are valuable criticisms of what should have been an easy article to post. Both were criticisms I had (because I went looking for the list and was surprised the leading image was entirely inaccurate) and am happy to see the readers holding a higher bar.

Quoting from the greys:
It confuses me as well! I would have hoped he could bring that anti-racism energy in support of other forms of oppression. I thought that the parallels in those struggles would be evident. Instead, we got quotes like “gender is a fact”, “trans people make up words to win arguments”, and the use of transgender slurs.…
You can’t pick and choose who you’re going to make fun of.
I’d argue that something “he likes to do” and something that’s “the thing to do” are two very different things, assuming that all statements are genuine. Doing something because it’s the thing to do is inserting yourself into a space purely for the attention it will garner, like this Vogue cover. In that case, it’s…
Didn’t they understand this was a song about the horrors of slavery?
I’m hoping that Trump hates the spineless, establishment Republicans after they failed to give him his big win on a platter. So his next move is going after them, as a whole, just like he turns on everyone who slights him. Burning everything down that he can’t legitimately have.
It wasn’t left out:
“I can’t speak about the content of the show”
...in an attempt to find firearms as part of an anti-violence campaign.
