No way this is legal. What he is really saying here is, “I’ll approve tax breaks for a corporation if they sign a business deal with a Republican donor org.” He should be gone before end of summer.

Now playing

Yeah, I don’t think I’d overturn the James call if I were on the field that day. Nor would I overturn the Dez catch against the Packers a while back. The Ertz ruling was correct per the rule book...but the other two are questionable at best.

The rule book has some pretty specific rules in it about this exact thing. In fact, the NFL has the pertinent language in bold

he had one play where he scrambled to his right, then hit a receiver in stride for a first down. Romo creamed his jeans over it, and for good reason. It was one of the best plays of the game. For my money, it was better than any single play from Brady.

It’s a shame that we don’t talk more about authority bias when it comes to the refs. It explains everything we saw this weekend. Given a 50/50 call with a split second to device, the refs are going to statistically side with whichever team they fear/respect/idolize the most. Since the Jags were punching way above

Even if such circumstances were entirely plausible or even common with Alexa devices, I would still file this tweet in the “you wrecked your credibility a long time ago you evil potato.”

Fair enough...agreed that a good defense can help boost an offenses production. But even if you account a TD per game to the defense, they’re still right there at the average NFL mark. Although they did play in a fairly week division. However good they actually are, I don’t expect the Patriots to drop less than 30

Terrible Jacksonville offense? They were 5th in points scored in 2017(26 ppg). They scored 30+ in the last 4 games of the reg season that mattered. They scored above the league average (21.72) ten times in the regular season. They tied with the Rams for net pt differential(149), with only the Patriots and Eagles ahead

I’m convinced that people just love to pick on Bortles because of his goofy last name.

#1. Yes, they exist...and if I offered to pay your rent, you still wouldn’t live there. Not to mention that they’re probably limited to certain neighborhoods, which limits a persons ability to get to/from a job elsewhere in town. It’s not realistic. It just isn’t.

#1. I’m genuinely curious what you think you can rent in Charlotte(or really anywhere) for $350. I count 3 studio apartments in the entire city on Zillow. That’s just not realistic. $500 for base housing is pretty much the real minimum for rentals in most cities. ($6k/yr)

I think the ultimate irony is that schools are free to schedule games against whomever they choose. If the American conference is considered weak, then UCF can only control their destiny(and make the playoff) by scheduling big name non-conference games. But you can see some of the old-guard schools like Bama or OSU

Nah man. In a perfect world where everyone knows all the details, sure, some people would switch to Android. But nobody has all the details, especially when Apple isn’t transparent about including code that purposely slows your device. My gfs IP6 had been dragging for months, and we both just sorta figured it just see

iPhone x was a huge miss for Apple. 2018 will be the year that Synaptics brings us fingerprint scanners that sit right behind the screen. That was Apple’s initial strategy with the X before they had to abort and go with plan B because the tech wasn’t ready. So when the 9 launches with the new Synaptics tech, we’ll

Every law exists because someone tried to fuck someone or something over. This should be no exception. Outlaw the practice in the interest of protecting local wildlife from inhumane treatment. If your car is so god damn precious, there are things called garages and carports.

Matthews strikes me as the kind of guy that on a single play will scream “watch the run!......watch the pass!”

They said the same thing about the ATM, yet we still have human bank tellers. I don’t disagree that automation has an impact on specific job roles, but that has been the case for decades yet here we are. At some point I think it will start to take a more dramatic role, but it’ll start at the bottom and eat it’s way

Jags are 7-4. Bortles is ranked 17th in INTs among QBs who have thrown at least 150 passes. Prominent QBs who have thrown and equal or greater number of INTs this season: Carr, Ryan, Wilson, Flacco, Prescott, Newton, Roethlisberger, Dalton, Mariota, Cousins, and Watson.

What’d I do?
